\nA Note From the Music Department:<\/p>\n

Good Afternoon,<\/p>\n

Reminder that we are only a week away from our 6th grader’s first
\nperformance! The 6th grade Band & Choir Concert will take place in the
\nmiddle school gym on Thursday, January 9th at 7:00pm.<\/p>\n

Students should arrive at 6:30 to warm up. Band students should report to
\nthe band room, and choir students should report to the choir room. Students
\nin both, should report to the band room first to put together their
\ninstrument and then will report to the choir room to warm up.<\/p>\n

Students are expected to wear “concert black” for band and choir. (Options
\ninclude: black knee-length\/floor-length dress, black sleeved shirt, black
\npants or knee-length skirt, black socks, and black shoes. Black tights or
\nleggings – no bare legs. Please no tank tops or ripped pants.) Regular
\nschool dress code applies. If you need assistance with securing any of
\nthese please contact Ms. Geiger (ageiger@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a>) as we
\nhave a supply available just in case.<\/p>\n

Friendly reminder that band and choir are performance based classes,
\ntherefore concert attendance is mandatory. In order for students to be
\nexcused and provided a make up assignment, a parent email\/contact is
\nrequired prior to the missed event. Everyone plays an important part in
\ntheir ensemble “team”.<\/p>\n

We are looking forward to sharing the students’ musical skills they have
\nlearned thus far with you! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate
