Tomorrow is our 3rd Wednesday dress-up day for National Bully Awareness
\nMonth. The theme is \u201cBe a Team Player by Being Kind to Everybody\u201d. To
\ncelebrate our team-player attitude at Falls, we are encouraging students to
\nwear your favorite team clothing in support of the way we accept everyone
\nand show each other respect and kindness. Staff are encouraged to wear
\ntheir black anti-bully t-shirts as a symbol of “blacking out” bullying from
\nour school. Students, if you’d prefer to wear black too, please do. Thank
\nyou to everybody for keeping our school safe and welcoming for all!!<\/p>\n
Students – please remember that you are to clear the playground after
\nschool and use the equipment until after 4pm. Our supervisors are directed
\nto monitor the bus pick up area and front pick up area to keep everyone
\nsafe.<\/p>\n

\u200bHello – This is an announcement from YOUR Falcon Way! The next Falcon Way
\ndrawing will be at the end of the day on Wednesday October 21st. This will
\ngive you extra time to stop down to see this month\u2019s prizes and get your
\nFalcon Feathers turned in. Teachers – Make sure to pass out those Feathers
\nfor POSITIVE EXPACTED choices! We have new prizes for YOU too!<\/p>\n

We are looking to borrow 10 or more rubric cubes for a potential Veterans
\nDay presentation. If anyone has one or more we could use until

The first yearbook meeting will be Monday, October 26th from 3:15-4:15 in
\nroom 211 (Miss Zimmer’s room). Hope to see you all there!!! Meetings will
\nbe every second and fourth Monday of the month.<\/p>\n
Magic Variety Show passes (FREE under 14yrs.) are in the MS office. The
\nshow is at Riverview Middle School in Plymouth on Tuesday, October 20th @
\n6:30pm.<\/p>\n
*Boys Basketball Players:* The start of your season is rapidly
\napproaching. Please sign up in the MS office and make sure all of your
\npaperwork is in order before the first day of practice, Monday October 26th
\n3:30-5, or you get to watch instead of play. There is a parent mtg in the
\nMS gym @ 4pm on Wednesday, October 21st. We’re looking forward to a great

*From the Nurse: *October is \u201cNational Protect Your Hearing Month.\u201d
\nNoise-induced hearing loss is cumulative, invisible, and permanent. That
\nmeans it gets worse over time and cannot be cured. You may not even notice
\nthat it is happening. The good news is that noise-induced hearing loss is
\n100% preventable. If your ear buds prevent you from hearing what\u2019s going
\non around you, the volume is too loud! Turn down the sound!<\/p>\n
