*8th Grade Basketball Players:* The published schedule incorrectly lists

Students and Staff – We need your help ensuring books, papers, jackets,
\ninstruments are in lockers or classrooms, not on the floor in the hallways
\nso the custodians can complete their work without interruption. Thank you<\/p>\n
*Attention students, staff & parents:* Beginning In early January, I will
\nbegin offering several small groups for students in grades 6-8 with a focus
\non soft skills. Soft skills are personal attributes that enable someone to
\ninteract effectively and harmoniously with other people. The following four
\nsoft skills will be included in my series of groups: 1) communication, 2)
\nenthusiasm & attitude, 3) teamwork and 4) problem solving & critical
\nthinking. Students may sign-up for one or more of the soft skill groups.
\nSmall groups will meet four times – two times per week during lunch and
\nrecess for two weeks. Specific dates and times will be determined after
\ngroup numbers are established. If you are interested in joining a small
\ngroup, please stop in the office and pick-up an informational sheet &
\npermission slip.<\/p>\n
*The Fourth Annual Craft & Vendor Fair, *sponsored by SFMS Student Council,
\nis being held in the middle school gym on Saturday, December 5, from 9 a.m.
\n– 3 p.m. The gym is packed with vendors and we’ve filled the lobby too.
\nBesides over 40 crafters\/vendors, the high school culinary dept. is
\nproviding homemade concessions for breakfast and lunch. Admission is free,
\nso when you’re out for Main Street Memories, come and join us for some
\ngreat shopping at the middles school.<\/p>\n
The holiday concert is planned for December 7, 2015 at 7:00 pm in the High
\nSchool Auditorium. Students should plan to arrive at 6:30 pm, and 6th, 7th,
\nand, 8th grade choruses report to the cafeteria.<\/p>\n
Appropriate dress for this concert will be the following:<\/p>\n
Boys: black dress pants, white dress shirt (short or long sleeves), black
\nsocks, and black shoes.<\/p>\n
Girls: black dress slacks or black skirt (knee length or longer), white
\nblouse (sleeves should cover the shoulder), black nylons or tights, black
\nshoes. Please no belts over shirts for women.<\/p>\n
The dress rehearsal will be held on December 7, 2015 at 7:50 am. *Presto
\nShow Choir will rehearse at 7:15 am.* Students walking, riding the bus or
\nbeing dropped off by parents will report directly to the High School. We
\nwill need parent supervision for this rehearsal. If any parent is
\ninterested, please contact Mrs. Charbonneau by Friday, December 4, 2015.<\/p>\n
The students should arrive back at the middle school at these times from
\nthe morning rehearsal on December 7th: 6th grade \u2013 9:00 am; 7th grade \u2013
\n9:15 am; 8th grade \u2013 9:30 am.<\/p>\n
*Presto Show Choir Ladies* – we are going to wear blue dress for this
\nperformance.<\/p>\n

\nBuilding and return there when we are finished. You must provide a ride to

\nvolunteered to work at the craft fair on Sat., Dec. 5. The 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.

\nraffle booth from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. and for clean-up after the fair. Thank
