*ACTION ROOM HAPPENINGS!*<\/p>\n

*HOLIDAY CARDS for HEROES … *Come to the ACTION Room during *recess* on
\nWednesday 12\/2 and Friday 12\/4 to design a card and share holiday wishes
\nwith our military heroes.<\/p>\n

*8th Grade Basketball: *No practice Thursday & Friday this week.<\/p>\n

*Girls Basketball: *you can sign up in the office at any time. The first
\npractice is going to be Monday, January 4th . The parent meeting is also
\nthat day in the MS gym at 4:45pm. Practice will be 3:30-4:45. Please make
\nsure that all paperwork and fees are in before the first practice or you
\nwill have to watch.<\/p>\n

*Show Choir Choreography Announcement:*<\/p>\n

Please excuse the show choir on 12\/11 and 12\/18 to learn choreography with
\nMiss Jessica from 2:30-3:15 in the auditorium. They are responsible for
\nany missed work. Thanks!<\/p>\n

Please see the attached information on the Smiles 4 Life program that will
\nbe offered here at the Middle School on December 8th. If you would like
\nmore information and an enrollment form, please stop in the Middle School
\noffice to pick one up.<\/p>\n

*Attention students, staff & parents:* Beginning In early January, Mr. U
\nwill begin offering several small groups for students in grades 6-8 with a
\nfocus on soft skills. Soft skills are personal attributes that enable
\nsomeone to interact effectively and harmoniously with other people. The
\nfollowing four soft skills will be included in my series of groups: 1)
\ncommunication, 2) enthusiasm & attitude, 3) teamwork and 4) problem solving
\n& critical thinking. Students may sign-up for one or more of the soft
\nskill groups. Small groups will meet four times – two times per week
\nduring lunch and recess for two weeks. Specific dates and times will be
\ndetermined after group numbers are established. If you are interested in
\njoining a small group, please stop in the office and pick-up an
\ninformational sheet & permission slip.<\/p>\n

*The Fourth Annual Craft & Vendor Fair, *sponsored by SFMS Student Council,
\nis being held in the middle school gym on Saturday, December 5, from 9 a.m.
\n– 3 p.m. The gym is packed with vendors and we’ve filled the lobby too.
\nBesides over 40 crafters\/vendors, the high school culinary dept. is
\nproviding homemade concessions for breakfast and lunch. Admission is free,
\nso when you’re out for Main Street Memories, come and join us for some
\ngreat shopping at the middles school.<\/p>\n

The holiday concert is planned for December 7, 2015 at 7:00 pm in the High
\nSchool Auditorium. Students should plan to arrive at 6:30 pm, and 6th, 7th,
\nand, 8th grade choruses report to the cafeteria.<\/p>\n

Appropriate dress for this concert will be the following:<\/p>\n

Boys: black dress pants, white dress shirt (short or long sleeves), black
\nsocks, and black shoes.<\/p>\n

Girls: black dress slacks or black skirt (knee length or longer), white
\nblouse (sleeves should cover the shoulder), black nylons or tights, black
\nshoes. Please no belts over shirts for women.<\/p>\n

The dress rehearsal will be held on December 7, 2015 at 7:50 am. *Presto
\nShow Choir will rehearse at 7:15 am.* Students walking, riding the bus or
\nbeing dropped off by parents will report directly to the High School. We
\nwill need parent supervision for this rehearsal. If any parent is
\ninterested, please contact Mrs. Charbonneau by Friday, December 4, 2015.<\/p>\n

The students should arrive back at the middle school at these times from
\nthe morning rehearsal on December 7th: 6th grade \u2013 9:00 am; 7th grade \u2013
\n9:15 am; 8th grade \u2013 9:30 am.<\/p>\n

*Presto Show Choir Ladies* – we are going to wear blue dress for this
\nperformance.<\/p>\n

Thank you for your continued support of the Choral Music Program here at
\nSheboygan Falls Middle School. I am looking forward to a wonderful concert.<\/p>\n

“Parents, please know that at any time during the year that your financial
\nsituation changes we encourage you to complete the lunch application.”<\/p>\n

Attention any Chorus Students: We will be caroling for Main Street Memories
\non December 5 from 10-10:30 am! We will meet in front of the Municipal
\nBuilding and return there when we are finished. You must provide a ride to
\nand from the event. Please have your ride there at 10:30. See you there!<\/p>\n

*Student Council Members, *Thank you to those of you who have already
\nvolunteered to work at the craft fair on Sat., Dec. 5. The 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.
\ntime slots have been filled. Where help is still needed is manning the
\nraffle booth from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. and for clean-up after the fair. Thank

\nSheboygan Falls School District while raising money for a good cause!<\/p>\n

Who: Any student or staff of the Sheboygan Falls School District and their
\nfamilies! We ask that all students 5th grade and under are accompanied by
\nan adult.<\/p>\n
