Thanks!<\/p>\n<p>Students going to the Nutcracker, if you are interested in a school lunch<br \/>\nplease let the lunch staff  know on Wednesday so that they can have it<br \/>\nready for you on Thursday!  Thanks, Mrs. Charbonneau<\/p>\n<p>Students and their families are invited to participate in the Strengthening<br \/>\nFamilies Program for ages 10-14 through UW-Sheboygan and Mental Health<br \/>\nAmerica.  The Strengthening Families Program helps develop healthy family<br \/>\nrelationships between children (aged 10-14) and their<br \/>\nparents\/guardians. The Spring 2016 session will run every *Thursday* from<br \/>\n*J*anuary 28 to March 10*, 5:30pm to 8:00pm* with dinner provided. The<br \/>\nflyer and registration form are available in the office. Child care for<br \/>\nyounger kids will be provided! We<br \/>\nwill travel by bus from the middle school to downtown Milwaukee.  We will<br \/>\nreturn to the middle school at approximately 2:45PM, at which time the<br \/>\nstudents will report to their scheduled class period.  Students are to *pack<br \/>\na bag lunch and beverage LABELED with their name* for this field trip, as<br \/>\nwe will be eating in the Marcus lunchroom immediately after the<br \/>\nperformance, before returning to school. See Mrs. Fiorini or Mrs.<br \/>\nCharbonneau with questions.<\/p>\n<p>*NUTCRACKER INTRO 7 TRIVIA! *Students attending the Milwaukee Ballet<br \/>\nNutcracker trip on 12\/17 are invited to come to the ACTION Room during the<br \/>\nlunch\/recess period on Weds. 12\/16 for an introduction to the story of the<br \/>\nNutcracker. We&#8217;ll introduce the characters, setting, and special effects of<br \/>\nMB&#8217;s story line In addition, we&#8217;ll cover ballet vocabulary, as well as<br \/>\nballet attendance etiquette. *Participation on Weds. will prepare you* for<br \/>\nour follow-up Friday, 12\/18 activity. You have<br \/>\nthe opportunity to share your creative writing skills and be recognized for<br \/>\nyour writing talents!  Write a poem in the *style of your choosing*, which<br \/>\nfocuses on the holiday or winter season.  Poems will be judged based on<br \/>\ntheir originality, creativity, and artistic quality. Students can prepare for the bee by picking<br \/>\nup a study list either from Literacy and Integrated LA teachers or from the<br \/>\nACTION Room bulletin board. See Mrs. Fiorini with questions.<\/p>\n<p>Facilities Advisory Committee now forming, seeking volunteers!<\/p>\n<p>The School District of Sheboygan Falls is seeking district residents to<br \/>\nvolunteer for a Facilities Advisory Committee (FAC). The role of the<br \/>\ncommittee is to provide meaningful input to the Sheboygan Falls Board of<br \/>\nEducation as the Board analyzes potential solutions for the Sheboygan Falls<br \/>\nMiddle School. The committee will also provide specific input on the<br \/>\ndistrict-wide, long-range capital replacement priorities. It is anticipated<br \/>\nthat the committee will meet no more than six (6) times between January and<br \/>\nApril 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Committee membership: The Board is seeking a broad-based group that<br \/>\nrepresents a cross-section of the community. Committee members are asked to<br \/>\ncommit to participating in all meetings.
