We will be publishing the names of students who have service<br \/>\neach week in the staff announcements so that teachers are aware of who<br \/>\nneeds to be coming down to wash tables. Katie will represent<br \/>\nSFMS at the regional bee on Feb. 1 at Acuity! Wish her well! They are currently<br \/>\npreparing individual parts for a day filled with sectionals, full<br \/>\nrehearsals, and a performance scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Lakeland College on<br \/>\n Saturday, February 6, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>There are still a few spots available for the master drummer coming<br \/>\ntomorrow morning.<br \/>\nPlease see Mrs. Charbonneau if you are interested.<\/p>\n<p>*Student Council Members, *our meeting on Monday, January 18, and all<br \/>\nfuture meetings will be held in room 114. See you all there!<\/p>\n<p>*Lion King Play is March 10th-12th*<\/p>\n<p>Hakuna Matata &#8211; Sheboygan Falls Middle Schoolers &#8211; The sign-up for the<br \/>\nmiddle school musical the Lion King is posted on office windows.  Please<br \/>\nsign-up for Monday, January 18th or Tuesday, January 19th.  The audition<br \/>\nwill be after school.  They will last about 10 minutes and will be on a<br \/>\nfirst come first serve basis.  As soon as you are finished, you may leave.<br \/>\nAll students that audition will be cast as parts.  The cost for being in<br \/>\nthe musical is $40.00.  There is also some other paperwork that needs to be<br \/>\ncompleted as well and is encouraged to be completed before the first<br \/>\nrehearsal which will be January 21st.  Please stop in the office for any<br \/>\npaperwork for the musical.  Rehearsals generally run from 3:15-4:00 pm or 4:30<br \/>\npm during the week of the show they will run until 5:30 pm.  The parent<br \/>\nmeeting will be on January 19th at 5:00 pm in the middle school auditorium.<\/p>\n<p>Students and their families are invited to participate in the Strengthening<br \/>\nFamilies Program for ages 10-14 through UW-Sheboygan and Mental Health<br \/>\nAmerica.  The Strengthening Families Program helps develop healthy family<br \/>\nrelationships between children (aged 10-14) and their<br \/>\nparents\/guardians. The Spring 2016 session will run every *Thursday*<br \/>\nfrom January<br \/>\n28 to March 10*, 5:30pm to 8:00pm* with dinner provided. The flyer and<br \/>\nregistration form are available in the office. Child care for younger kids<br \/>\nwill be provided! Cotton is not a winter-friendly fabric. It tends to<br \/>\nhold moisture close to the skin.<\/p>\n<p>The body loses heat through the head and neck, so hats and scarves are a<br \/>\nmust. Bundle up feet and hands in waterproof layers for the best effect.<\/p>\n<p>For going skiing, snowboarding or playing ice hockey, additional protective<br \/>\ngear is a must.
