It is optional for interested art students. The<br \/>\nfirst 50 students from 7th and 8th grade may attend. We will leave<br \/>\naround 9:10 and be back around 11:45. The contest ends at noon on Friday, April 15. The individuals<br \/>\nwith the closest guess will win a Barnes and Noble gift card. While you<br \/>\nare in the library, don’t forget to check out a book or two. As<br \/>\na middle school our goal will be to help reduce the amount of trash that<br \/>\ngoes into the landfill, and even work on reducing the amount of food that<br \/>\ngoes in the trash as well. This will be an entire school effort from the<br \/>\nkitchen staff right to our students that we hope to continue after Earth<br \/>\nDay. Menu for that day is Corn Dogs, not preboated (count out 6), mashed<br \/>\npotatoes, gravy and carrots\/ dip, watermelon\/ mango and Dirt cake. There<br \/>\nwill not be extra containers to put ketchup and dip in. Just place the<br \/>\ncondiments on your tray with the food you’re using it on.
