Calling all artists! To promote “Waste-Free Lunch” coming up soon in our
\ndistrict, we are looking for students to design a poster promoting reducing
\nwaste and trash at lunch. If you want to participate and want to try
\nwinning some prizes, please see Mrs. Fischer in the art room for the paper
\nand for some guidelines. Thank you!<\/p>\n

*It\u2019s time to sign up for MS conferences:* Thursday, October 13th 4-8pm,
\nand Tuesday, October 18th 4-7pm. Here are the steps when signing up for
\nconferences go to the district website and click on Family on top, then to
\nthe right go to Family Resources. Half way down on the page you will see an
\nicon that says Parent Teacher Conference Registration. Click on the school
\non the right hand side. If you need assistance call the MS at 467-7880.
\nPlease limit your child to 2 teachers, this will help allow room for
\neveryone to get a time slot. If you feel the need to meet with more than 2
\nteachers for each child, please e-mail those teachers to schedule at
\nanother time. Fifth grade parents will be getting a note in their child\u2019s
\nfolder letting them know which teacher to schedule conferences with. It
\nwill be with just their homeroom teacher. That teacher will have all your
\nchild\u2019s information to share with you from the other teachers that your
\nchild has. Thank you for all your cooperation with scheduling conferences.<\/p>\n

Future Falconettes Dance Mini-Camp with the Sheboygan Falls Varsity Dance
\nTeam! Friday, October 14th. This camp is open to all students grades 1-8.
\nThe cost is $25 in advance, $30 at the door and includes a t-shirt, Poms,
\nand dinner. Please stop in the MS office for more information and
\nregistration form.<\/p>\n

We are selling all of the “old school” Falcon clothes in spirit of

*SFMS Pep-Squad: *Do you want to dance during Falcon boys\u2019 basketball

Like hip-hop? Like to dance? If so, come join the Lakeland College dance
\nteam and Mrs. Cotter as they head up a new, hip-hop dance team! This
\nopportunity is open to all 7th & 8th Grade girls! If you are interested or

The eighth grade class will be participating in a Coastal Restoration
\nStewardship Day on October 25, 2016. This citizen science program connects
\nto environmental concepts covered in science class and our Make a
\nDifference Week focus of Attitude of Gratitude. On October 25th we will
\nbe leaving school at 9:00 to go to King Park to plant native Dune Plants.
\nUpon our return to school, about 1:00, we will be eating lunch where
\nstudents will have the option of eating hot lunch.

Hello Students! New Falcon Way prizes have recently been added to the
\nprize case. On your way out for lunch break, stop to check them out.
\nRemember to enter your Falcon Feather for a chance to win one of the
\nfollowing prizes: Brewers Gear, Sheboygan Falls Middle School Gear, a
\nWilson Volleyball, and NEW LED Water Speakers. The next drawing in October
\n21st. Last week, we focused on making good choices while on the
\nplayground. This week, our focus area will be EXPECTED behavior
\nwhile waiting in line to enter the cafeteria. Remember, it is EXPECTED
\nthat all students are keeping their hands and feet to themselves and are
\nusing a quiet voice when waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch (#1 or #2
\nvoice). Keep making choices that are SAFE, RESPONSIBLE, and RESPECTFUL!<\/p>\n
*Ropes Course – Open Climbing for 12 years old & up*<\/p>\n
The Rec Department will be having an “Open Climbing” event at the Ropes
\nCourse on Sunday, October 2nd from 1-3pm. The event is open to anyone 12
\nyears old or older (adults included) that wants to challenge themselves on
\nthe Ropes Course. The cost will be $10 ($5 for each additional family
\nmember). We will have a certified supervisor and belayers running the
\nprogram and will open the rock climbing wall and another high ropes element.<\/p>\n
