Several churches in the community are teaming up with Salvation Army in
\nSheboygan to help families in need of assistance this Christmas. The
\nSalvation Army is having intake day on Thursday Oct. 13th from 2 \u2013 6 pm,
\nand again on Monday Nov. 14th from2 \u2013 5 pm, but (the Nov. date is not going
\nto be advertised).<\/p>\n
*DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR APPLICATION* MUST LIVE in Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls,
\nHowards Grove or Kohler. No exceptions<\/p>\n
*All applicants must show a photo I.D. at time of intake.* *If you receive
\nservices from Economic Support, the only document we will accept is your
\ncurrent letter of determination**. If you do not receive services from
\nEconomic Support you must bring one document under each category*<\/p>\n

Words cannot express how proud I am to know each and every one of you. Your
\nsimple act of kindness at last night’s game in Plymouth has not gone
\nunnoticed. My morning has been filled with tears of pride as I read emails

\nGratitude\u2019s Candy Give Back Program.* We\u2019re not kidding! *WE WANT YOUR
\nCANDY!* Candy will be *shipped overseas to our courageous troops *(who
\ncould sure use a treat or two!) serving our country in the Middle East. In
\nreturn, you will be doing good things for others! It\u2019s all about MAKING A
\nDIFFERENCE!<\/p>\n

\n* Attention Grade 7 & 8 Boys Basketball Players: * The beginning of your
\nseason is rapidly approaching. Before the first day of practice on October
\n24 after school in MS gym 3:30-5, you need to have all of your paperwork
\ncompleted and turned in to the office. Don’t leave it for the last minute
\nbecause you may need a physical exam, which involves a visit to a doctor.
\nThe necessary forms are on the middle school web site or in the office.

Calling all artists! To promote “Waste-Free Lunch” coming up soon in our
\ndistrict, we are looking for students to design a poster promoting reducing
\nwaste and trash at lunch. If you want to participate and want to try
\nwinning some prizes, please see Mrs. Fischer in the art room for the paper

*It\u2019s time to sign up for MS conferences:* Thursday, October 13th 4-8pm,
\nand Tuesday, October 18th 4-7pm. Here are the steps when signing up for
\nconferences go to the district website and click on Family on top, then to
\nthe right go to Family Resources. Half way down on the page you will see an
\nicon that says Parent Teacher Conference Registration. Click on the school
\non the right hand side. If you need assistance call the MS at 467-7880.
\nPlease limit your child to 2 teachers, this will help allow room for
\neveryone to get a time slot. If you feel the need to meet with more than 2
\nteachers for each child, please e-mail those teachers to schedule at
\nanother time. Fifth grade parents will be getting a note in their child\u2019s
\nfolder letting them know which teacher to schedule conferences with. It
\nwill be with just their homeroom teacher. That teacher will have all your
\nchild\u2019s information to share with you from the other teachers that your
\nchild has. Thank you for all your cooperation with scheduling conferences.<\/p>\n
Future Falconettes Dance Mini-Camp with the Sheboygan Falls Varsity Dance
\nTeam! Friday, October 14th. This camp is open to all students grades 1-8.
\nThe cost is $25 in advance, $30 at the door and includes a t-shirt, Poms,
\nand dinner. Please stop in the MS office for more information and
\nregistration form.<\/p>\n
The eighth grade class will be participating in a Coastal Restoration
\nStewardship Day on October 25, 2016. This citizen science program connects
\nto environmental concepts covered in science class and our Make a
\nDifference Week focus of Attitude of Gratitude. On October 25th we will
\nbe leaving school at 9:00 to go to King Park to plant native Dune Plants.
\nUpon our return to school, about 1:00, we will be eating lunch where
\nstudents will have the option of eating hot lunch.

Hello Students! New Falcon Way prizes have recently been added to the
\nprize case. On your way out for lunch break, stop to check them out.

\nWilson Volleyball, and NEW LED Water Speakers. The next drawing in October
\n21st. Last week, we focused on making good choices while on the
\nplayground. This week, our focus area will be EXPECTED behavior
\nwhile waiting in line to enter the cafeteria. Remember, it is EXPECTED
\nthat all students are keeping their hands and feet to themselves and are
\nusing a quiet voice when waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch (#1 or #2
