*Basketball News!!* Sheboygan Falls\u2019 boy\u2019s basketball camp for boys
\nentering 4th grade through 9th grade is *June 26**th** through June 29**th*.
\n Learn the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, scoring, and
\nplaying defense from the Sheboygan Falls’ basketball coaching staff and
\nplayers. Camp forms are located in the office, you can pick one up from Mr.
\nFrohling at the middle school, or you can print a form from the rec
\ndepartment website

The P.E. Department of Sheboygan Falls Middle School would like to take
\nthis time to thank all the students that participated in the “Naming of the
\nNew Middle School Gym Center Court”. Unfortunately, no one’s idea was
\npicked. Thanks again to all that entered.<\/p>\n

*St. Jude MATH-A-THON:!* Over the past thirteen years, SFMS has raised over
\n$34,856.00 for children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!!
\n Between now and May 5th, students will have the opportunity to
\nparticipate in the 2017 SFMS St. Jude Math-a-thon. Students who signed up
\nto participate will receive their pledge packet this week and can begin to
\ncollect sponsors. The FUNBOOKS with cool math problems to solve should
\narrive early next week. Participants have the opportunity to great earn
\nprizes…but most importantly, to help the children and families at St.
\nJude Children’s Research Hospital. The math class *with the highest number
\nof contributing participants* will earn a class popcorn party!!! Together

*National Library Week Contests -*<\/p>\n

*Students* – Bookmark Contest! Designs must have a theme about READING.
\nOnly ONE entry per students and ONE winner per grade. Winners will receive
\na surprise gift card! Entries will be accepted Monday, April 24th –
\nFriday, April 28th. Winners will be announced Monday, May 1st. Stop in to

*UFL Football Combine:* Monday\/Tuesday May 1 & 2 will be the UFL combine.

Are you looking to do something musical this summer? Check out the *Lakeland
\nUniversity Music Camp*! The camp runs from July 23rd – July 29th and it
\nincludes two large choirs, three bands, an orchestra, and three piano
\nensembles. Campers also pick their own electives such as Ukulele, Show
\nChoir, Jazz Band, Dance, Yoga, and many more! For more information, check

*5thGrade Families*<\/p>\n

With the beginning of a new season, we are gearing up for our biggest and
\nbrightest summer opportunity: 4-H Summer Camp. Our 4-H Summer Camp is an
\nexcellent opportunity for families and youth to see what 4-H has to offer.
\nThis year we will be holding our 4-H Summer Camp at Upham Woods in
\nWisconsin Dells, WI starting on July 15th and ending on July 19th, 2017. Forms
\ncan be picked up in the MS office.<\/p>\n

*SF Rec Department Information*<\/p>\n

*Baseball Fundamentals Camp – 2nd-8th Grade*<\/p>\n

The Rec Department is partnering with the SFHS baseball team to offer a
\nbaseball fundamentals camp for 2nd through 8th grade players. Players will
\nlearn from the Sheboygan Falls High School coaches and develop the
\nfundamentals\u2014throwing, pitching, fielding and hitting. Players will partake
\nin some of the same instructional, competitive, and fun drills as the high
\nschool programs does and will have a chance to win some prizes! The camp
\nwill be held on consecutive Saturdays (April 22nd & April 29th) with a cost
\nof $25.<\/p>\n

Attention 8th grade students in Mrs. Fischer’s Art Classes: Friday, May 12,
\nwe will be going on a field trip to the Milwaukee Art Museum. We will
\nleave around 8:30 and get back around 2:30. We need about 10 adult
\nchaperones (a parent or grandparent, etc.) for our trip. Parents, if you
\nare interested, please email Mrs. Fischer so we can hold a spot for you!
\nChaperones are free. Background check forms for chaperones are available in
\nthe office or on the district website.<\/p>\n
