The Ukulele club will be meeting the next two Fridays during recess in
\npreparation for the concert May 15th. If you would like to perform on the

The MS Bands will be rehearsing at SFHS on Monday, May 8th in preparation
\nfor our Spring Concert. Students will be meeting at the HS at 7:50 a.m. and
\nwill return at the following app.times:
\n6th Grade-8:30 a.m.
\n7th Grade-9:00 a.m.
\n8th Grade-9:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
*It’s dance time again! *Student Council is sponsoring a dance for all
\nmiddle school students on Friday, May 12. This dance will begin as a *Green
\nDay *Friday afternoon. Those students who have stayed above the line will
\nbe able to attend the dance. Besides the dance, students may purchase
\nconcessions and the photo booth will be available. Students will return to
\ntheir 10th hour class and anyone wishing to return to the dance after
\nschool may do so if they have a wristband. Wristbands will be on sale at
\nlunch on Wed., May 10, Thurs., May 11, and Friday, May 12. They will also
\nbe on sale right before the dance that Friday afternoon. To get a
\nwristband, students must have a signed permission slip and $1. Permission
\nslips will be handed out in your Wed. falcon time, but extra copies will be
\navailable on the Student Council bulletin board across from the library.<\/p>\n
The Falcon Way and Student Council is collaborating to bring to YOU a BONUS
\nFalcon Way Prize. YOU may enter your Falcon Feathers to win 2 slices of
\npizza, 1 soda and 1 ice cream during the next dance on May 12th. One
\nwinner will be selected from each grade level. All you need to do to win
\nis STAY ABOVE THE LINE and enter your Falcon Feathers in the BONUS PRIZE
\nBOX located next to the Falcon Way Prize Box by the recess doors. Keep
\nmaking EXPECTED choices!<\/p>\n
*LIBRARY FINAL CHECK OUT INFORMATION – Beginning on Monday, May 1st, the
\nmaximum amount of library items (BOOKS, NOOKS, ETC.) that can be checkout
\nout is TWO. Last check out date for the year is Friday, May 19th. All
\nLibrary items should be returned to the library no later than Tuesday, May

The 8th grade is traveling to see *I Never Saw Another Butterfly* in Green
\nBay on May 3rd. The play details the real-life incident of the children in
\nthe Terezin Ghetto during World War II. It supports the Integrated class’
\nlook at the war experience and its theme that war touches all people, not
\njust those in the military.<\/p>\n
We will be leaving at the end of 1st hour on that day and returning by the
\nend of 7th hour. Students will head to their lockers after 1st period ends,
\nput their stuff away, and head to the gym lobby to board the buses.<\/p>\n

\nremember that food should be consumed in the cafeteria, not on the

*Camp Anokijig is giving away a gift certificate for 1-week free camp
\n(6\/11-6\/17 or 6\/18-6\/24 or 7\/2-7\/8). To be eligible for the competition,
\nplease write a 1-page essay to Ms. Markofski why you think you should go to
\nthe camp, and why you would enjoy this opportunity. Please submit your
\nessays to the office no later than May 12th. *<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, May 3rd, Sheboygan County will embark on a new venture to
\nwork with anyone who is interested in the future of our young citizens.
\nLocal businesses and dignitaries will be part of a structured conversation
\nwith our parents and educators discussing how rich Sheboygan County is with
\nopportunities for young people to start their careers right here. This
\nconversation will be meaningful for any parent or educator of students
\nanywhere from kindergarten through seniors in high school. Please consider
\nattending this one hour event on Wednesday, May 3rd from 6:30-7:30 pm at
\nthe Blue Harbor Resort Convention Center.<\/p>\n
\n* 8th graders in Art:* There are still a handful of you that have not
\nturned in your $5 for the Milwaukee Art Museum trip on May 12. Please take
\ncare of this ASAP so we can send the payment in!<\/p>\n
The day of the trip, you will need to bring a bag lunch. If you wish to
\nhave the school kitchen pack a cold lunch for you, with payment coming out
\nof your lunch account, see Mrs. Fischer for a form!<\/p>\n
We will leave at approximately 8:30 the day of the trip. Students will
\nreport to 1st hour classes until 8:15. Parent chaperones can arrive around
\n8 for a briefing and orientation. Verification Emails to parent chaperones

*Basketball News!!* Sheboygan Falls\u2019 boy\u2019s basketball camp for boys
\nentering 4th grade through 9th grade is *June 26**th** through June 29**th*.
\n Learn the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, scoring, and
\nplaying defense from the Sheboygan Falls’ basketball coaching staff and
\nplayers. Camp forms are located in the office, you can pick one up from Mr.
\nFrohling at the middle school, or you can print a form from the rec
\ndepartment website
