\nus for a walking field trip to *River Park in Sheboygan Falls* for a *FISHING
\nTRIP* on Thursday, May 25th! We will meet in the auditorium at 10:16AM and
\ndepart at 10:30AM, with a return arrival time back at the middle school at
\napproximately 12:30PM. Please see Mrs. Charbonneau for a permission slip.<\/p>\n
*National Geographic Bee participants and fans…*WATCH the final
\ncompetition LIVE on *National Geographic and Nat Geo WILD channels, **May
\n19th at 7:00PM CST* and see who will take the title of 2017 National Geo
\nBee Champion!<\/p>\n
8th graders in Art: Complimentary family passes to the Milwaukee Art
\nMuseum were offered and distributed to you after our field trip last
\nFriday. Remember they expire Aug 31 of this summer, and they admit 2 adults
\nand 4 kids for free. Parents, if your 8th grade ART student did not bring

*ST. JUDE MATH-A-THON UPDATE!*<\/p>\n
THANK YOU to ALL students who participated in this year’s MATH-A-THON! Our
\nSFMS students raised a total of $1014.00 to help support finding a cure for
\nchildhood cancer! YOU ARE AMAZING!! This brings the total funds raised by
\nSFMS students to $35,870.00 since 2003! CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Scharrer’s
\nPeriod 8\/10 students! They had the most contributing participants and have
\nearned the POPCORN PARTY! * MANY, MANY THANKS TO ALL!*<\/p>\n

There will be a sign up sheet in the office for all eighth grade girls
\ninterested in playing high school volleyball in the fall until Wednesday,
\nMay 17th. Please stop in the office and sign up. We will be having a player
\nand parent meeting at the end of May to get summer schedules.<\/p>\n
*Summer Reading Skills – Online Programs*. Pick up an information sheet in
\nthe library regarding reading programs for the summer! These online classes
\nrange from 4-year-olds to students entering 6th – 8th grade. For more

\ncases. It’s not too late to register for June summer school. I will be
\nrunning two SmartBoard Nancy Drew classes again this year and there are
\nmany other fun classes available. The course offerings and registration
