Attention students in grades 6-8…I’ve got three different group options
\ncoming up for you!<\/p>\n
\nThe first gives you the opportunity to meet once a week with a group of
\npeers to talk about ways to make positive changes in your life as well as
\nin the lives of others. Are you interested in feeling better about
\nyourself and helping others?<\/p>\n
\nThe second gives you the opportunity to meet once a week with a group of
\npeers to talk about what\u2019s going on in your life. Are you interested in
\nbuilding stronger relationships while learning to cope better with life?<\/p>\n
And the third gives you the opportunity to meet once a week with a group of
\npeers to talk about ways to direct your attention and efforts toward making
\npositive change. Have you wanted to make a change but struggled with doing
\nit on your own?<\/p>\n

\n*Dance Team: *Be ready to go on Thursday, November 2nd at 3:30pm in the MS
\ncafeteria.<\/p>\n
*Thursday Nov. 2nd, Dance Practice starts at 3:30- 4:30 and will be Monday
\n\u2013 Friday with No Wednesday. Please make sure all paperwork is turned in
\nbefore you can start!*<\/p>\n
NFL Dress Up Day Nov. 6th<\/p>\n
\n*YEARBOOK STAFF*…photographers* are needed* after school on
\nTuesday & Thursday for Lego League, during school on Nov. 10th for the
\nVeteran’s Day program, the MS Jaz Concert Nov. 13th 7pm in the HS
\nAuditorium and after school for Boys’ Basketball games.<\/p>\n

\ncontract.<\/p>\n
Attention 5th Grade Uke Club – Mrs. Charbonneau can meet with you on
\nTuesdays before school starting at 7:30 am. This will start November 7th.

*Student Council Members – *The t-shirt order form is on the Student
\nCouncil bulletin board across from the library. Please bring it home and
\nreturn it with your payment no later than Monday, November 6. You can drop
\nit off in my room (206) or bring it to our next meeting on 11\/6.<\/p>\n
Please join the High School Theater Department for our upcoming production

Shows are November 2, 3, and 4 at 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n
Tickets are free for district employees and high school students.<\/p>\n
$5 for children (under 12)<\/p>\n
$8 for adults<\/p>\n
FBLA will meet on Thursdays, beginning November 2, at 3:15 in the computer
\narea of the library. The first meeting will go until 3:45. Please contact
\nMs. Probst with any questions.<\/p>\n
Forensics will meet as a team before school Thursday at 7:30 in the library
\nto discuss progress towards the November 6th tournament.<\/p>\n
*Health Tip*<\/p>\n
According to the CDC, 40% of Children aged 5-17 miss 3 or more school days
\nin a year due to illness or injury. Overall, nearly 22 million school days
\nare lost each year due to colds alone, and 38 million school days are lost
\ndue to the flu.<\/p>\n
To Stay healthy, parents should:<\/p>\n
-keep your children home if they are sick<\/p>\n
-teach your children to how to properly wash their hands<\/p>\n
-offer children a diet rich in fruits and vegtables<\/p>\n
-avoid caffeine and sugary foods.<\/p>\n
