Milwaukee PBS, Channel 10, will be airing the following shows on January

Reminder to FBLA members: all coaching sessions will take place in Ms.
\nProbst’s room (204). If you haven’t yet set up a schedule with her, please
\nsee her at your earliest convenience. The competition is only a month away!
\nRegular meeting will be held after school on Thursday in Ms. Probst’s room.<\/p>\n
Students who are interested in a 2 month Free trial of martial arts, there
\nare 2 certificates that we will be drawing for on Friday, January 19th,
\nPlease come to the office to put your name in for a drawing.<\/p>\n

The wrestling parent meeting will be Thursday, January 18th at 6pm in the
\nHS cafeteria.<\/p>\n
Makerspace Club will run on *Mondays and Thursdays after school until 4:30
\npm beginning on Monday, Jan 22nd and wrapping up on Thursday, March 8th.*
\n There is NO Fee for joining this club. This club is an excellent
\nopportunity for students that love to tinker, create, problem solve, and
\nuse their imagination. As a part of Makerspace Club, students will have
\nthe option to work on free-choice projects, team challenges, or guided
\nprojects each week. Open to all 5-8th graders Sign up in the office
\nbefore January

*Student Council Members – *We now have enough chaperones for the dance
\non January 19. We are still in need of members to take a 15 minute
\nconcessions shift during the dance.<\/p>\n
*Concessions will again be sold *at all Girls’ Basketball games and the two
\nhome Wrestling Meets. However, concessions will not start until 3:30 for
\ncertain items and 3:45 for others. We will now be offering Theo’s pizza
\nalong with a wide variety of other snacks and drinks.<\/p>\n
Wrestling practice starts Monday, January 22nd. Practice will be in the
\ncafeteria 3:30-5. Please make sure all your paperwork and fees are paid in
\norder to start practice that 1st day.<\/p>\n
Student Council is sponsoring the first dance of this year on Friday,
\nJanuary 19, from 3:15-5:15. The theme is “Twins,” and students are
\nencouraged to dress accordingly. Tickets (wristbands) for the dance will
\nbe sold for $1 to anyone with a signed permission slip at lunch on Wed.,
\nThurs., and Fri. (January 17-19), and will also be available for purchase
\nright before the dance. Permissions slips will be handed out in your
\nWednesday Falcon Time and there will be a limited number available on the
\nStudent Council bulletin board across from the library. Kurty K’s DJ
\nService will be spinning music for us and there will be pizza, soda<\/p>\n
\u201cStudents and staff mark your calendars for January 20th 2018 for a FREE
\nZUMBA\/Zumba kids dance party. Grab a friend or family member ages 4 and
\nolder and join us in moving and shaking our way to better health. The event
\nwill be held at Sheboygan Falls Elementary School from 6:30-7:30pm. Door
\nprizes will be given out to a lucky few at the end of the event. Pick up
\na registration form in the any of the 3 school offices. Hope to see you
\nthere!\u201d<\/p>\n
The sun has come out at SFMS! Play auditions for Annie are January 16th
\nand 18th from 3:15-4:00 in the Middle School Auditorium. There will be a
\nsign-up sheet on the office window. All students must complete a
\nparticipation form, conclusion waiver, and hand in or pay online the $40
\ndollar fee prior to the first rehearsal Jan. 18th. No physical is
\nrequired. All of these forms need to be handed into the office. January 16th
\n@ 5pm there will be a parent meeting in the MS Auditorium. Thanks!<\/p>\n

*National Novel Writing Month Stories *<\/p>\n
In our first Falcon Time rotation, a number of SFMS students participated
\nin National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWirMo). They spent nearly two months
\noutlining, writing, and editing stories – or the opening chapters of larger
\npieces they are expanding. Some of the students who participated in
\nNational Novel Writing Month would like to share their work with you.<\/p>\n
Below are two links; one is to a document containing excerpts from several
\nNaNoWriMo stories. The other link is to a survey. Once you have had the
\nchance to read these previews of your classmates\u2019 work, the survey will
\nallow you to cast your vote in a number of categories – including most
