\nfunds raised to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!! Friday,
\nApril 6th is the date! Participants have the opportunity to earn
\nprizes…but most importantly, to help the children and families at St.
\nJude Children’s Research Hospital. The math class with the highest number
\nof *contributing *participants will earn a class popcorn party!!! Together

*MATH-A-THON TIMELINE!*<\/p>\n
*Friday, April 6th**! *Students return their pledge donations in an
\nenvelope to Mrs. Fiorini. Please include student’s full name and grade
\nlevel on the envelope. Funbooks can be kept by the student and students can
\ncontinue to work on these if not yet complete.<\/p>\n
*By Friday, April 20th,* the winner of the POPCORN party will be announced.
\nThe math class with the most contributing (meaning submitting some
\ndonation, whether $1.00 or $100.00) students will be selected the winner!<\/p>\n
*Students who have earned additional prizes from St Jude’s will receive
\nthose prizes sometime in May. Please watch the student announcements for
\nwhen and where students can pick these up. *<\/p>\n

Dental Health<\/p>\n
Did you know that it takes 24 hours for bacteria in your mouth to form a
\nsticky film called plaque. If plaque is not removed with proper brushing
\nand flossing it coats your teeth and becomes tartar. Tartar can only be
\nremoved by your dentist or hygienist. If you do not have the tartar removed
\nyour jaw bone starts to dissolve and your teeth can fall out. Keep your
\nteeth by daily brushing and flossing! Make regular appointments with your
\ndentist or contact your school nurse and take advantage of Lakeshore
\nHealth’s Dental clinic that comes right to our schools and is going on
\nright now!<\/p>\n
