It is full of memories and old drawings. The Falcon Way has partnered with<br \/>\nthe Yearbook Committee to offer a FREE yearbook to several lucky students.<br \/>\nAll you need to do is put a Falcon Feather in the extra box located by the<br \/>\nFalcon Prize box by the playground doors. They are fun to see&#8230;they<br \/>\ncontain 4 years of sketches, drawings samples, and more.  They show lots of<br \/>\ngrowth. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>*2018-2019 Cross Country Sign Up*<\/p>\n<p>Attention 6th and 7th grade runners, it&#8217;s time to start thinking about the<br \/>\nupcoming cross country season.  If you love running, being outdoors, and<br \/>\nimproving your fitness while having fun then cross country is for you!<br \/>\nPractices will begin the first week of school (all completed paperwork<br \/>\nwould need to be turned in by first practice).  *All those interested<br \/>\nshould sign up in the office.  *More details to follow. The athletic<br \/>\nprogram will be running a class to go over basics of bio mechanics and<br \/>\nlifting weights. No prior knowledge is necessary. Because we are getting to<br \/>\nthe end of the school year the coaching staff is trying to find a time that<br \/>\nwill work for all athletes interested. The program begins Monday,<br \/>\nMay 14 and<br \/>\nends Tuesday, September 4.  All students *going into* grade 6-12 are<br \/>\neligible.  When a participant reads a book, he or she will fill out a short<br \/>\nreport form, which is online. Participants can turn in up to 30 reports<br \/>\nduring the program. Each report completed will be submitted for a chance to<br \/>\nwin one of our many prizes.  The grand prizes are an Xbox One, a mountain<br \/>\nbike, a Kindle Fire, or a HDTV!! Lakeland&#8217;s camp offers band, choir,<br \/>\norchestra, and piano ensembles along with a variety of electives such as<br \/>\nJazz Band, Show Choir, Yoga, Bucket Drumming, Comedy Improvisation, and<br \/>\nmany more!
