School &#038; Heidenreiter Bus Co. have an agreement to ensure all<br \/>\nstudents have appropriate time to pick up band instruments, talk with<br \/>\nteachers, etc., and still catch their bus ride home. As of today, busses<br \/>\nwill remain at the MS until 3:25pm. The<br \/>\nmovie chosen by the students of Sheboygan Falls Middle School is Matilda.<br \/>\nMatilda will be shown in the auditorium after school on Friday, October 3rd<br \/>\nfrom 3:30 -5:00.  There is no fee to attend this event.  There will be<br \/>\npopcorn, beverages, and snacks sold for a small fee.  Permission slips are<br \/>\navailable this week and are located in the school office.  Permission slips<br \/>\ncan be turned in to the school office any time this week OR you can bring<br \/>\nyour permission slip along to be turned in before the movie begins. We hope<br \/>\nto see you all there!<\/p>\n<p>*Future Falconettes Dance Mini-Camp for girls in Grades 5-8:*<\/p>\n<p> *The Sheboygan Falls Varsity Dance Team will be holding a Dance Mini-Camp<br \/>\non the afternoon of Friday, October 17.  Girls will learn a routine and<br \/>\nperform at the football halftime that night. The cost is $25 in advance or<br \/>\n$30 at the door and includes a T-shirt, Poms, and Pizza!  Registration<br \/>\nforms have been sent home and additional forms are available in the<br \/>\noffice.  Forms must be returned to the school office by Wednesday, October<br \/>\n1 to receive the discounted price..* \u201c*No payment is due until check-in<br \/>\non October 17.\u201d*<\/p>\n<p> Ice Cream Fridays are back.  This Friday, we will have a fudge bar as an<br \/>\nice cream choice in addition to the Orange Dream Bar, ice cream sandwich,<br \/>\nand Firecracker popsicle that was offered last week.<\/p>\n<p>Attention Parents &#038; Students in Grades 6-8: it&#8217;s that time of year again!<br \/>\nI will start running interaction groups next month.  If you are interested<br \/>\nin one of the groups explained below, stop in the office and get a form to<br \/>\nfill out (or print it from the blog on my website).  Forms are due<br \/>\nback by October<br \/>\n3rd.  Thank you, Mr.U.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is open now for Expanding Your Horizons 2014, a 6-8th grade<br \/>\ngirls STEM conference!<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is a one-day conference held at the<br \/>\nUniversity of Wisconsin-Madison for around 400 middle school aged (6-8th<br \/>\ngrade) girls. As part of a small group, each girl attends three career<br \/>\nsessions as well as the opening session and closing activity. Registration<br \/>\nis currently open for student participants for the 2014 conference which<br \/>\nwill take place on November 8, 2014 at UW-Madison.<\/p>\n<p>EYH helps girls learn about the wide range of career options for women in<br \/>\nscience, technology, engineering and math. Through hands-on workshops and<br \/>\nvisits to work places, they find out what it&#8217;s like to work in different<br \/>\ncareers.
