*Congratulations to our Edible Engineering participants who competed in the
\nGreat Gingerbread Festival held at the Waelderhaus in Kohler! *All four of
\nthe edible creations entered by our students were recognized by visitors to
\nthe Waelderhaus as “favorites” of the festival. Winners include;<\/p>\n
Snowstorm Valley~ Brayden S and Marley M<\/p>\n
Polar Express~ Taylor B, Addie S, Annie D, Greta D, and Lucy H<\/p>\n
Chilling After Christmas~ Mason K, Brennan H, and Owen R<\/p>\n
Snowman’s Cabin~ Abraham D, Anna D, and Zoey E<\/p>\n
Prizes are awarded to the sponsoring school to support continued enrichment
\nprogramming. Student winners will receive a certificate and recognition
\nprize in the coming days.<\/p>\n
*No school on February 22nd : Blue Harbor Breaker Bay is offering $10
\nadmission and $6 for a food vouchers. *<\/p>\n
The MS Band Buddy Program is scheduled to begin the week of January 21st
\nwith sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:15-3:45 p.m. 6th
\nGrade Band students are encouraged to sign up for a session to work with
\none of our 7th or 8th Grade Band students.<\/p>\n
MAKERSPACE CLUB starts on Tuesday, January 29th! We will meet in the
\ncommons near the STEM Suite. MAKERSPACE will run Tuesdays and Thursdays
\nafter school until 4:30.<\/p>\n
As a part of Makerspace Club, students will have the option to work on
\nfree-choice projects, team challenges, or guided projects each week. Some
\nthings the members can look forward to are: STEM activities such as
\ncreating simple circuits, crafts, and using basic power tools. We hope to
\nsee you there!<\/p>\n

8th Grade Baby Pictures for Yearbook<\/p>\n
The 2018-2019 school year is well underway, and so is the creation of this
\nyear\u2019s SFMS Yearbook!<\/p>\n
Our yearbook staff will be continuing the tradition of incorporating into
\nour memory book baby pictures of our eighth grade class.<\/p>\n
