TRACK and FIELD MEMBERS – Thank you for signing up and completing the
\npaperwork. The final item for most of you to take care of is to pay the

1. Please create an on-line account with a parent’s email address to help
\nour school win a $500 bonus for PE equipment. No money needs to be donated
\nfor this bonus, only creating an account! We need 50% of our students to
\ncreate an account to win this award. If you have any questions on how to
\ncreate an account see Mrs. Schreurs. You can even bring in an email
\naddress and she will help you create the account at school.<\/p>\n
2. Donations are also beginning to come in. This is of course voluntary,
\nbut if you do collect donations please either use your on-line account or
\nbring in the Hoops for Heart envelopes which were handed out. If you need
\na new envelope, see your PE teacher.<\/p>\n

*Join us for a family fun night and learn how together, *<\/p>\n
*parents and teachers, can support ALL students!*<\/p>\n
*Thursday, April 11th from 5:30-7:30 pm*<\/p>\n
Both the ES and MS will be hosting a *Cardboard Carnival Build Night*.<\/p>\n
(If you have students in both buildings, you can decide the one in which
\nyou\u2019d like to work.) Families will come with their designs and plans and
\nuse the Engineering Design Process to create their own carnival-style
\ngame. The last 30 minutes of the event will be used to share games and try
\nout others\u2019 creations! If you believe your creation will take longer to
\nbuild, we invite you to start your project prior to the build night and use
\nyour time during the event to put on finishing touches.<\/p>\n
Families will also have the opportunity to visit with SFMS staff and learn
\nabout a variety of resources to help support learning at home. Raffle
\ntickets will be distributed toward a chance to win prizes!<\/p>\n

\nThe Falcon Way will be sponsoring two activities during the Student and
\nStaff basketball game. The two activities are the VIP section at the
\nStudent and Staff basketball game and half time musical chairs. First, the
\nVIP section: There will be 4 winners selected. Each winner will be able
\nto choose a friend to sit in the VIP section with them. Sitting in the VIP
\nsection will give you front row seats to ALL the action as well as
\nunlimited popcorn and bottled water. Second, musical chairs: We are
\nlooking for one person per grade level to participate in the student-staff
\nbasketball game halftime. Students will go against staff members in a game
\nof musical chairs! To enter both or either activity, all you do is need to
\nenter your Falcon Feather(s) in the Falcon Prize Box which will be located
\non the stage and will start the morning of Monday, March 18th. One side of
\nthe box will be designated for the VIP section and the other side for
\nmusical chairs. The winners will be announced the morning of March 22nd.

\nthrough out the school day by being Safe, Responsible and Respectful

\nundergoing some big changes this year! In the past, we always had artwork
\nup in the cafeteria during the weekend of our spring musical. Since we
\ndon’t have the “tackable wall space” in our beautiful new commons, we will
\nnot be having a formal BIG art exhibit the weekend of the play. We will
\nhave a small display to celebrate Youth Art Month, which is March! Plans
\nare underway to have a bigger Art Exhibit in the late spring with the
\nelementary. Mrs. Fischer and Mr. Hoes are working out the details. Stay
\ntuned!<\/p>\n

\nSchool – Saturday Night Cast. Students involved in the musical will be
\nreleased after peaceful start. I anticipate the show taking 1 hour. We
\nwould like the youngest grade level to sit toward the front on chairs and
\nthen proceed back from there. We may be sitting on the bleachers as well.
