Families will come with their designs and plans and<br \/>\nuse the Engineering Design Process to create their own carnival-style<br \/>\ngame.  The last 30 minutes of the event will be used to share games and try<br \/>\nout others\u2019 creations! If you believe your creation will take longer to<br \/>\nbuild, we invite you to start your project prior to the build night and use<br \/>\nyour time during the event to put on finishing touches.<\/p>\n<p>Families will also have the opportunity to visit with SFMS staff and learn<br \/>\nabout a variety of resources to help support learning at home. Priority is given to 8th graders who<br \/>\nplan to take Art in High School at some point.  Come and watch  Ceramics<br \/>\nProfessor Shawhan from Concordia University teach us how to throw pottery<br \/>\non a wheel! Solve cool math problems and raise money<br \/>\nto help fight childhood cancer! *Middle school math teachers have taken<br \/>\ntime to introduce the work of St. Jude Children&#8217;s Research Hospital to<br \/>\nstudents, sharing the goal of finding a cure for childhood cancer. Students<br \/>\nwho signed up to participate will bring home their sponsor sheet by Friday,<br \/>\nMarch 22nd. If your student has not signed up and is interested in<br \/>\nparticipating, or for more information, please contact Mrs. Fiorini.<\/p>\n<p>*Week of March 18th~* St Jude Math-a-thon Sponsor Sheets Distributed to<br \/>\nStudent Participants. Please create an on-line account with a parent&#8217;s email address to help<br \/>\nour school win a $500 bonus for PE equipment.  No money needs to be donated<br \/>\nfor this bonus, only creating an account!  We need 50% of our students to<br \/>\ncreate an account to win this award. Thanks for your support!<\/p>\n<p>\nAttention Sheboygan Falls Students, the Falcon Way has important<br \/>\ninformation that YOU do not want to miss.  The Falcon Way will be<br \/>\nsponsoring two activities during the Student and Staff basketball game.<br \/>\nThe two activities are the VIP section at the Student and Staff basketball<br \/>\ngame and half time musical chairs.  First, the VIP section:  There will be<br \/>\n4 winners selected.  Each winner will be able to choose a friend to sit in<br \/>\nthe VIP section with them.  Sitting in the VIP section will give you front<br \/>\nrow seats to ALL the action as well as unlimited popcorn and bottled<br \/>\nwater.  Second, musical chairs:  We are looking for one person per grade<br \/>\nlevel to participate in the student-staff basketball game halftime.<br \/>\nStudents will go against staff members in a game of musical chairs! To<br \/>\nenter both or either activity, all you do is need to enter your Falcon<br \/>\nFeather(s) in the Falcon Prize Box which will be located on the stage and<br \/>\nwill start the morning of Monday, March 18th. One side of the box will be<br \/>\ndesignated for the VIP section and the other side for musical chairs. The<br \/>\nwinners will be announced the morning of March 22nd. In the past, we always had artwork<br \/>\nup in the cafeteria during the weekend of our spring musical.  Since we<br \/>\ndon&#8217;t have the &#8220;tackable wall space&#8221; in our beautiful new commons, we will<br \/>\nnot be having a formal BIG art exhibit the weekend of the play.  We will<br \/>\nhave a small display to celebrate Youth Art Month, which is March!  Plans<br \/>\nare underway to have a bigger Art Exhibit in the late spring with the<br \/>\nelementary.
