The final Falcon Store of this year will be Tuesday, May 21st! Keep
\ncollecting those Falcon Feathers.<\/p>\n

Erasers are running very low in the Art Room! Always happens at this time
\nof year. You’ll want to bring an eraser of some type to Art in these last
\nweeks of school, especially 5th and 6th grade Art classes. Thanks.<\/p>\n

*8th Graders going out for HS Dance Try-out!*
\nAny current 8th graders that would like to join the dance team? They will
\nneed this filled out and hand it in the packet on the tryout dates! Please
\nstop in the MS office to get your packet.<\/p>\n

Dance team tryouts will be May 21st, 22nd & 23rd from 4p-6p at the HS.<\/p>\n

*End of the year Box Tops Contest*<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time for our last contest of the year!<\/p>\n

The contest will take place from May 20th \u2013May 31st.<\/p>\n

The contest will have ONE WINNER, whoever hands in the most box tops will
\nreceive a Target gift card. There will be a box in the MS office to put
\nthem in. Please make sure you label them with your name.<\/p>\n

*The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course* \u2022 Designed for youth
\nages 11 – 15. \u2022 Provides youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to
\nsafely & responsibly care for children and infants. \u2022 Helps participants
\ndevelop leadership skills & build a babysitting business. \u2022 Learn skills in
\nhow to guide children’s behavior, basic child care and basic first aid.
\nCertificate of Completion will be issued upon completion of the class.
\nParticipants must attend both dates of the session in order to receive a
\ncertificate. Three sessions available. COST is $15\/participant. To

*RSVP for Milwaukee Ballet’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream!*<\/p>\n

*Student’s who received an invitation* to participate in our upcoming Arts
\nEnrichment opportunity to see Milwaukee Ballet perform *A Midsummer Night’s
\nDream*should return their permission slip ASAP. The deadline has been
\nextended to *Wednesday, May 22nd * after which time we will extend the
\ninvitation to others. *See Mrs. Fiorini, Mrs. Winkler, or Mrs. Charbonneau
\nwith questions. *<\/p>\n

*Library Final Check Out Info *- Last check out is *Monday, May 20th*. All
\nlibrary items should be returned no later than *Wednesday, May 31st*. If
\nyou cannot locate the items, please stop in the library to pick up a slip
\nwith the money amount of the item (s) that are missing. Just a reminder to
\nthe Grade 8 students – all items should be returned by the 31st of May, or
\nit could interfere with the Grade 8 graduation activities. Thank you<\/p>\n

There will be an informational meeting with Mr. Koepsell for any boys in 8th
\ngrade interested in playing HS soccer. The meeting will be May 17th at
\n11:45am. At MS in 8th grade neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Lakeland Muskies basketball camp: The men\u2019s basketball team is hosting a
\nsummer basketball camp for boys entering grades 4-8. If you are interested
\nin improving your skills stop in the MS office and grab a camp brochure.<\/p>\n

*2019 -2020 Cross Country Sign-Up*<\/p>\n

Attention runners who will be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade next year – it’s
\ntime to start thinking about the upcoming cross country season. If you
\nlove running, being outdoors, and improving your fitness while having fun
\n– then cross country is for you! Practices will begin the first week of
\nschool (all paperwork would need to be turned in by first practice). *All
\nthose interested should sign up in the office. *Any questions see Mrs.
\nHughes.<\/p>\n

Any 8th grade student who brought in a hard-copy baby picture for the
\nyearbook, please stop by Ms. Dekanich’s classroom to pick your up as soon
\nas possible.<\/p>\n

*8th grade Art Students*, including those who had 2-D Art 1st
\nsemester: *Milwaukee
\nArt Museum* field trip on *Thursday, May 23*. This is an OPTIONAL TRIP so
\nif you choose not to go, or you are behind\/failing in academic classes, you
\nshould stay behind to catch up. Depart school around 9:20 a.m. and return
\napprox. 2:20. We will take a guided tour, have lunch, and have some time
\nto explore with your chaperone. Parent chaperones are needed! Contact
\nMrs. Fischer if interested. Cost is $5 per student, chaperones are free.
\nMoney is due to Mrs. Fischer by Monday, May 6.<\/p>\n

*Basketball News!!* Sheboygan Falls\u2019 Boys basketball camp for boys
\nentering 7th grade through 9th grade is *June 24**th** through June 27**th*.
\nFor boys entering 4th grade through 6th grade camp is *July 8th and July
\n9th.* Learn the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, scoring, and
\nplaying defense from the Sheboygan Falls’ basketball coaching staff and
\nplayers. Camp forms are located in the grade level pods, the elementary
\noffice, you can pick one up from Mr. Frohling at the middle school, or you
\ncan print a form from the rec department website.<\/p>\n

Calling all 8th grade STEM students! You are invited to the Project Grill
\nunveiling at Wildwood Park on Friday, May 17th. (Fall semester STEM
\nstudents who wish to display should get their grills to Ms. Probst no later
\nthan May 15th, so that she can transport them.) You may take them at the
\nend of the event or pick them up the following Monday at school,. For more
\ndetails, including RSVP, please see Ms. Probst. An email and Infinite
\nCampus message will go out to families, as well. We hope you can be a part
\nof this event! All participants will get a free dinner, as well as a ticket
\nto a future Sheboygan A’s game. A group photo will be taken and you will
\nget to show off what you have created, as well as see the high school grill
