So, both fifth and eighth grade will receive an ice cream<br \/>\ntreat.  Fifth grade will get their treat at early check-out on Thursday and<br \/>\neighth grade will get their treat at the end of the day on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>*Library Reminder* &#8211; Just a reminder that all library items should be<br \/>\nreturned no later than Friday May 31st. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Erasers are running very low in the Art Room!   Always happens at this time<br \/>\nof year.  You&#8217;ll want to bring an eraser of some type to Art in these last<br \/>\nweeks of school, especially 5th and 6th grade Art classes.  Thanks.<\/p>\n<p>*8th Graders going out for HS Dance Try-out!*<br \/>\nAny current 8th graders that would like to join the dance team? They will<br \/>\nneed this filled out and hand it in the packet on the tryout dates! Please<br \/>\nstop in the MS office to get your packet.<\/p>\n<p>Dance team tryouts will be May 21st, 22nd &#038; 23rd from 4p-6p at the HS.<\/p>\n<p>*End of the year Box Tops Contest*<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s time for our last contest of the year!<\/p>\n<p>The contest will take place from May 20th \u2013May 31st.<\/p>\n<p>The contest will have ONE WINNER, whoever hands in the most box tops will<br \/>\nreceive a Target gift card. There will be a box in the MS office to put<br \/>\nthem in. Please make sure you label them with your name.<\/p>\n<p>Good Luck!!!<\/p>\n<p>Jill Adamavich ~ MS box tops coordinator<\/p>\n<p>*The American Red Cross Babysitter&#8217;s Training Course* \u2022 Designed for youth<br \/>\nages 11 &#8211; 15. \u2022 Provides youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to<br \/>\nsafely &#038; responsibly care for children and infants. \u2022 Helps participants<br \/>\ndevelop leadership skills &#038; build a babysitting business. \u2022 Learn skills in<br \/>\nhow to guide children&#8217;s behavior, basic child care and basic first aid.<br \/>\nCertificate of Completion will be issued upon completion of the class.<br \/>\nParticipants must attend both dates of the session in order to receive a<br \/>\ncertificate. If you are interested<br \/>\nin improving your skills stop in the MS office and grab a camp brochure.<\/p>\n<p>*2019 -2020 Cross Country Sign-Up*<\/p>\n<p>Attention runners who will be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade next year &#8211; it&#8217;s<br \/>\ntime to start thinking about the upcoming cross country season.  If you<br \/>\nlove running, being outdoors, and improving your fitness while having fun<br \/>\n&#8211; then cross country is for you!  Practices will begin the first week of<br \/>\nschool (all paperwork would need to be turned in by first practice).  *All<br \/>\nthose interested should sign up in the office.  *Any questions see Mrs.<br \/>\nHughes.<\/p>\n<p>*8th grade Art Students*, including those who had 2-D Art 1st<br \/>\nsemester:  *Milwaukee<br \/>\nArt Museum* field trip on *Thursday, May 23*.  This is an OPTIONAL TRIP  so<br \/>\nif you choose not to go, or you are behind\/failing in academic classes, you<br \/>\nshould stay behind to catch up. Depart school around 9:20 a.m. and return<br \/>\napprox. 2:20.  We will take a guided tour, have lunch, and have some time<br \/>\nto explore with your chaperone.  Parent chaperones are needed!  Contact<br \/>\nMrs. Fischer if interested. Cost is $5 per student, chaperones are free.<br \/>\nMoney is due to Mrs. Fischer by Monday, May 6.<\/p>\n<p>*Basketball News!!*   Sheboygan Falls\u2019 Boys basketball camp for boys<br \/>\nentering 7th grade through 9th grade is *June 24**th** through June 27**th*.<br \/>\nFor boys entering 4th grade through 6th grade camp is *July 8th and July<br \/>\n9th.*  Learn the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, scoring, and<br \/>\nplaying defense from the Sheboygan Falls&#8217; basketball coaching staff and<br \/>\nplayers.
