Wednesday, May 5th will be<br \/>\nthe last Falcon Way drawing.  There will be two drawings. The drawings will<br \/>\nbe for a Yearbook or a basketball.  If you purchased a yearbook we ask that<br \/>\nyou don&#8217;t participate in the yearbook drawing but you can still participate<br \/>\nin the basketball drawing. This will be the last chance this year to use<br \/>\nyour Falcon Feathers.  The Falcon box will be located on the stage starting<br \/>\nMonday morning through Wednesday 8th hour. We will announce the winners<br \/>\nThursday Morning. If an 8th grader wins the yearbook, you can pick it up in<br \/>\nthe office before yearbook signing.  All other winners can pick their<br \/>\nprizes up Friday morning. Have an awesome summer and remember to be safe,<br \/>\nresponsible and respectful because it is the Falcon Way. Coaches will use different games and activities to<br \/>\nprepare the athletes for their upcoming seasons. This camp will center<br \/>\naround developing proper form and technique, maintaining ball control, and<br \/>\nfocusing on communication, while encouraging teamwork, confidence, and<br \/>\nenthusiasm for the sport. The Sheboygan Falls volleyball players will be<br \/>\nhelping run this camp as one of their fundraisers for the year. The picture time will be 5:30pm. Keep YOUR math skills<br \/>\nsharp over the summer and have fun doing it!<\/p>\n<p>*WHEN?* *Anytime!*  Participate\/Play PRODIGY MATH on your own schedule<br \/>\nbetween June 8th and September 2nd, 2019!<\/p>\n<p>*WHERE? **Anywhere you have an Internet connection!*  Access Prodigy Math<br \/>\nat the public library or on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop<br \/>\ncomputer!<\/p>\n<p>*WHY? ** Beat the summer slide or summer learning loss!* Research shows<br \/>\nmany students experience learning loss when they are not engaged in<br \/>\neducational activities during the summer. Additionally, some score lower on<br \/>\nstandardized tests at the end of the summer vacation than they do on the<br \/>\nsame test at the beginning of summer vacation. Return to school on top of<br \/>\nyour game!<\/p>\n<p>*HOW? Use your personal PRODIGY MATH login and password!* All students<br \/>\nalready have a login and password, which has been used in their math<br \/>\nclassroom throughout the school year. Your student will have emailed<br \/>\nhis\/her login and password to their school email address.<\/p>\n<p>*TO PARTICIPATE\u2026 **JUST LOGIN and BEGIN! *<\/p>\n<p>*ANYTHING ELSE? **Yes! Parents can create a FREE parent account and link it<br \/>\nto their student\u2019s account.* This allows parents to receive emailed updates<br \/>\nand reports on your child\u2019s progress. *Additionally, parents have the<br \/>\noption to add additional children to their account for a fee, if desired. *<\/p>\n<p>*END OF YEAR MEDICATION PROCEDURE: *Parents are reminded that they are<br \/>\nexpected to pick up their son or daughter\u2019s medication at the end of the<br \/>\nschool year.  Unless the student\u2019s medication form indicated that they may<br \/>\ncarry and administer their own medication, *the student may not transport<br \/>\ntheir own medication home.*  Medication must be picked up prior to the last<br \/>\nday of school.  All remaining medication will be properly disposed of no<br \/>\nlater than June 7, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Boys and Girls club will be closed May 28 through June 7. Please make<br \/>\nother arrangements with you child if this is their normal routine.<\/p>\n<p>Show Choir Ladies &#8211; Please return any show choir items &#8211; black shirts, blue<br \/>\ndresses, cummerbunds, etc before the end of the year.  Thanks!<\/p>\n<p>*The American Red Cross Babysitter&#8217;s Training Course* \u2022 Designed for youth<br \/>\nages 11 &#8211; 15. \u2022 Provides youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to<br \/>\nsafely &#038; responsibly care for children and infants. \u2022 Helps participants<br \/>\ndevelop leadership skills &#038; build a babysitting business. \u2022 Learn skills in<br \/>\nhow to guide children&#8217;s behavior, basic child care and basic first aid.<br \/>\nCertificate of Completion will be issued upon completion of the class.<br \/>\nParticipants must attend both dates of the session in order to receive a<br \/>\ncertificate. If you are interested<br \/>\nin improving your skills stop in the MS office and grab a camp brochure.<\/p>\n<p>*2019 -2020 Cross Country Sign-Up*<\/p>\n<p>Attention runners who will be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade next year &#8211; it&#8217;s<br \/>\ntime to start thinking about the upcoming cross country season.  If you<br \/>\nlove running, being outdoors, and improving your fitness while having fun<br \/>\n&#8211; then cross country is for you!
