*HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS*

*May 23, 2022 – “B” Day*

ONE LAST CHANCE TO GET AN LTC VISIT IN THIS SCHOOL YEAR!! Esther, our LTC
rep, will be back for the last time this school year on Thursday, May 26
during Enhancement in the Counseling Office. Please use the Google Form
Mrs. Groth sent out if you would like to sign up to meet with her!

*Seniors – *A reminder that students *must be in good standing for all
courses necessary for graduation (including ACP requirements) and all
school financial obligations fully cleared* for a student to participate in
the Senior Class Activity and Commencement Ceremony. Please note that any
student who is not eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony must
be in school on June 1-3 or until they are eligible to graduate.

*Just a reminder to all graduating seniors: *please pick up your
graduation tickets from the high school office this week.

*High school yearbooks* will be distributed on Tuesday, May 24. If you
would still like to purchase a yearbook, they are $60. Bring cash or a
check (written out to SDSF) to Ms. Enright. There are a limited number of
yearbooks left.

*Hey Juniors!* As you map out your summer plans of sitting around and
sending Snap Chats, why don’t you start thinking about your college
application essays? The beginning of your Senior year is going to be packed
and frenzied, so why not get the essay writing out of the way? To help get
you started, please sign up for Mr Ford’s Enhancements on Wednesday, May
25th or Wednesday June 1st and learn all there is to know about writing a
college application essay. Email Mr Ford with questions!”

*Attention Seniors!!* Are you are planning on continuing your education
after high school? If so, you must fill out the Google Form Mrs. Groth
sent you several times titled Transcript Request Form. Please fill out this
form by June 3, 2022. This is your one and only opportunity to have us send
your final transcript for free to the school that you will be attending
next fall. All universities, colleges, and tech schools require students to
have a final transcript sent, so make sure you fill this out if you will be
continuing your education next year!!

If you are a freshman, sophomore, or junior who is interested in learning
about how to get into the National Honor Society next year, please sign up
for an informational meeting about NHS that will take place on Thursday,
May 26th during enhancement. The way to sign up is to email Mrs. Franklin
that you are interested, and she will sign you up for that day’s
enhancement. Mrs. Franklin’s email is [email protected].

*Seniors:* Please wear something that indicates what your plans are for
next year on Thursday, May 26.

*Attention Seniors*: going on the Senior trip to Kalahari!

We will be traveling in coach buses, please sign up for a bus.

Sign up is in the high school office.

Please sign up by the end of the week.
