L. Schommer,The Boys & Girls Club after school program will be closed the
week of November 22nd (Thanksgiving week) AND the week of December 20th
(Christmas week) due to staffing shortages.

A Note From Amy Lawerenz: all students were given a card with their lunch
bar code. This is their form of payment this year, touchless sales. They
will not be able to purchase ala carte without their card.

Our district is currently operating the Seamless Summer Option (SSO)
contract, and since students are not charged for meals under this program,
adult meals, and ala carte are calculated using a non-pricing formula. The
formula includes the amount of reimbursement the district receives from the
state and federal government for a student meal.Under our current contract
,that reimbursement is higher than in the past, which means the price of an
adult meal must be higher.

The Food Service department appreciates the support it receives from adults
participating in the program. The district is required to increase the
adult meal prices and ala carte to meet the contract requirements. Effective
December 1, 2021, adult breakfast will be $2.20 and adult lunch will be
$4.00, Specialty Salads will be $3.00, Extra Entree will be $2.00 and extra
pizza or in a bowl meal will be $2.25

Dear Sheboygan Falls Families and Employees,

The district has been working diligently since the beginning of the summer
to provide access to Covid-19 testing to ensure we create a safe learning
environment while also supporting our families and staff as they navigate
through the Pandemic and WI cold and flu season. The district has been
working with the WI Department of Health Services and a company called
Covid Clinic to offer on-site Covid testing. We are pleased to share that
we now have a testing kiosk on school property that is staffed with a
trained health professional in order to provide free family and employee
Covid-19 testing.

Who can access the testing?

Any student, household members to a student, employees, and household
members to an employee. Children 2 and older can be tested and must be
accompanied by their parent/guardian.

Where is the testing located?

Testing is located at the back of the high school near the agriculture
barn. See image below. There are signs to follow and dedicated parking
spots for testing.

When is testing available?

Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

How do I register?

Pre-registration for testing is strongly recommended at
register.covidconnect.wi.gov. However, you can register at the testing site
using your smartphone.

What test will I be receiving?

Participants get both a rapid antigen test and a PCR test. Rapid antigen
results are available that same day. PCR results typically are available in
2-3 days.

How will I know my test results?

Test results are emailed directly to the email address utilized to register
for the testing.

What do I do with the results?

If you do not have a household member who has tested positive…

If you are negative and feeling well, you may return to school or work. You
will need to email or send a screenshot of the negative results to one of
the school nurses: Amber Silver or Lisa Hackbarth.

If you have a household member who has tested positive…

You can test on day 6 or 7 and may return to school or work on day 8 if you
receive a negative test result and feel well. You will need to email or
send a screenshot of the negative results to one of the school nurses:
Amber Silver or Lisa Hackbarth.

[email protected]

[email protected]

Will home tests continue to be accepted by the school district?

Due to the availability of this free Covid testing option, we will no
longer accept the results of home tests. [image: A picture containing

Effective
December 1, 2021, adult breakfast will be $2.20 and adult lunch will be
$4.00, Specialty Salads will be $3.00,Extra Entree will be $2.00 and extra

However, you can register at the testing site
using your smartphone.

A Note From Mrs. Fischer: To cut down on spreading germs, please bring a
pencil with your choice of eraser to Art Class.

A Note From Amy Lawerenz: all students were given a card with their lunch
bar code. This is their form of payment this year, touchless sales. They
will not be able to purchase ala carte without their card.

A Note From Library: A reminder to students when checking out books, please
bring your school card with you, unless they have their 5-digit number
memorized. It really makes checkout out much more efficient. Thanks for
your help with this!

On Wednesday November 3rd, 5-7th graders will be attending “Shrek the
Musical” preview from 8-10:15. Please see the attached Falcon Tool for
expectations.

Falcon Tool: Attending A Performance

Falcon Tool Universal Expectation: Safe, Responsible, and Respectful

Name of Skill/Setting: Common Expectations for Attending a Performance

Purpose of the lesson/ why it is important: Our high school friends spent
lots of time and hard work preparing this performance for us! During the
performance (or musical), high school students are concentrating on
creating the best performance possible; middle school students are watching
with their eyes and listening with their ears (our bodies are quiet).

1.

You will load the buses at 8:00 with your teacher. Please remember to
walk slowly and fill every seat. It is required to have masks on when
on the bus, so please have a mask for the bus ride.
2.

When you arrive at the high school, you will follow your teacher to the
seats in the front of the auditorium. You will be seated with your
teacher. Please remember to stay seated until you are dismissed at the end
of the performance. Listen to your teachers’ directions.
3.

Please use a zero volume during the performance. This helps everyone
hear and enjoy the performance.
4.

Applause is appropriate at the end of each scene. It is not appropriate
to make other noises or talk to the performers. (Practice polite applause)
5.

When the performance is over, please wait your turn and leave the space
in a calm way. Listen to your teachers’ directions.
