SAVE THE DATE – Summer Registration
Registration going ONLINE
Registration dates are listed below and be held once again at Sheboygan Falls High School.  Please note that registration will be going almost entirely online this summer. Rather than printing all forms, you will be able to complete most information online through Parent Portal in Infinite Campus prior to arriving to Registration. If you have not already set up your Portal account, you will be receiving a reminder email from Infinite Campus to prompt you to do so.  Completing this now will help you prepare for the registration process in July.

STEAM Education
Rocketing into Science

The 4K students and their third grade buddies were able to launch rockets together. 4K just finished a two week unit on Space. Mr. Russell Hollman, a retired science teacher (and Mrs. Schliewe’s father) came to school and taught the children about rocket launching and how to stay safe.

Shake Rattle and Roll
Second Graders Use the Engineering Design Process

Mrs. Kamke’s second grade students used the Engineering Design Process to create a building that could withstand an earthquake (a pan of jello shaken by Mrs. Kamke). Students used marshmallows and toothpicks and of course their knowledge to create the structures.

Making the Air More Breathable
Celebrating Earth and Arbor Day

Fourth graders received free trees from the DNR to celebrate Arbor Day and Earth Day. They were encouraged to plant the trees to help the environment.

Third Grade Connects with Japan
Third Graders reach out to learn about different cultures.
This picture was taken by third Grade students for their pen pal friends in Japan. This picture was sent to our friends along with our final letters to say thanks for sharing about their culture and their school, John O. Arnn Elementary School, near the Camp Zama facility in Japan.

Students learned much about their friends (favorite food, video game, color, sport, subject, etc), as well as topics being discussed in the classroom.  Despite the distance, it was fun to learn how much in common our students had with their friends in Japan.

Rockin’ Recess
An annual tradition @ SFES

Students had a fun lunch and recess on May 13.  In addition to a DJ playing dance music, there were also a variety of activities to get students moving!

Color Run May 14
Despite the chilly weather and gray skies, the Falcon Families had great response for the Color Run May 14, with over 300 runners and walkers. Many thanks to all involved in planning and volunteering for the event!

NOTICE TO PARENTS WHO ARE MOVING OUT OF THE DISTRICT
If you are anticipating a move out of the Sheboygan Falls District during the current school year, your student(s) can continue attending school in Sheboygan Falls. Please contact your building office or the district office to receive a “Tuition Waiver Form.” Completion of this form will enable your child to continue attending school in the Sheboygan Falls District even though you no longer live within the District boundaries. Please call Mary Blaha, Director of Business Services or Julie Hahn, Administrative Assistant at 467-7893 if you have any questions regarding tuition waivers.
