SFES Communicator – September 2018
September 2018
Welcome Back to a new year of learning!
How could we possibly capture the excitement of a new school year in one newsletter? In pictures, of course! Take in these smiles from our first weeks of school.
School Celebrations: Please check out these guidelines that help us balance our time at the elementary school. We educate the whole child, which includes developmentally appropriate celebration times woven into our daily learning routine.

 Launching our Year

These first weeks are all about launching our rooms and building to create predictability for each learner. Check out some photos from our 2018-2019 school year launch!
Safety Drills Help Us Prepare
Safety drills were conducted at each of our three schools the morning of September 20th with minimal disruption to instruction. Students and staff practiced a “Shelter in Place” scenario with the support of Sheboygan County Emergency Management.

A reminder that our District’s emergency information for families can be found on our website:

Paper Challenges
Team building activity at Sheboygan Falls Elementary. We did the Paper Challenge. Students were given 20 pieces of paper and had to create the tallest structure that stood alone. We had so much fun creating and improving on our ideas.
