A Message from the Principal

Dear SFHS Falcon Families,

Our school year is off to a great start! We are excited about the academic progress we have made, our refocused Enhancement period, and for the remainder of the school year.

It’s hard to believe, but we are almost through Quarter 1 of the 2022-23 school year. As a result, we are asking you to make note of your child’s Quarter 1 grades up to this point. At SFHS, final grades and credits are only recorded at the end of each semester. Therefore, the grades at any point prior to January 20th are only an indication of course progress part-way through the semester.

If you have questions, I encourage you to check with your child(ren) about missing assignments, look on Infinite Campus or Canvas for details, and/or contact a teacher to discuss any concerns in more depth.

Thank you for your active support of your child’s learning and of SFHS. Please do not hesitate to contact me or others on staff to seek support, ask questions, or share ideas.

November 4th: Deadline for AP Exam Ordering

November 7th: First Day of 2nd Quarter

November 11th: Junior Team Talks with Counselors Begin

November 14th: Fall Jazz Concert @ 7:00 p.m.

November 23rd – 25th: No School – Thanksgiving Break

REMINDERS:

Yearbooks are $50. They can be ordered online HERE.

Senior Parents: You can purchase an ad for your Senior in this year’s yearbook. Prices vary by ad size, and can be ordered at yearbookforever.com. The deadline to purchase an ad is November 20.

SFHS Safety Update: As previously communicated via messenger, a Canine Search was conducted on October 4th, and an ALICE Launch presentation on October 18th.
