HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention students! We will have a visitor coming on Thursday, October 16
during SOAR-a rep from UW Oshkosh! If you are interested in learning more
about UWO, or have some questions for the rep, please see your emails from
Mrs. Groth and get signed up!

Junior & Senior Students and Parents: If you are interested in finding out
more about financial aid planning for any type of college after high
school, please attend the Financial Aid Planning Night on Monday, October
27th at 6:00pm in the HS auditorium.

Attention those applying for the National Honor Society: Your teacher
recommendations are due by October 20th, 2025 as well as your application.
I have only received a handful of teacher recommendations so far. Please
make sure you get those to the two teachers ASAP so they have time to fill
them out before the deadline.

Robotics Informational/Parent Night

If you have interest in joining the robotics program here at SFHS, stop in
on October 14th to learn more! Beginning at 5:00 pm in the cafeteria, we
will cover what the program has to offer for students! Parents are welcome
to attend!

The Music Boosters are having their Annual Kringle, Cookie Dough and Caan’s
Fundraiser!

The sale starts Monday, October 6.

Orders are due Monday, October 20.

Order pick-up is Thursday, November 20.

Note similar to last year, all profits will be allocated to student
accounts.

All boys and girls interested in wrestling or being a manager for wrestling
this year, we will have an informational meeting on Thursday, October 16th
during Clubs SOAR time in the auditorium. Please sign up under Mr. Knecht’s
SOAR.

Attention baseball players – There will be a sign up meeting for all
interested students on Thursday, October 16th during the clubs/activities
period. We will be meeting in A142 (Ms. Todd’s room). Among other things we
will discuss the open gym timeline and the new personalized jerseys for
this upcoming season.

Falcon Gear Sale

We are collecting any Sheboygan Falls Falcon apparel that you or your child
no longer need or wear. There will be a collection bin at our JV and
varsity home volleyball and basketball games. Our hope is to have enough
items to sell at one youth boys basketball game and one youth girls
basketball game this year. Dates are TBD. This is a great opportunity to
clean out your closets and get some new-to-you items! All proceeds from
donated items will go towards updating and maintaining the concession
stands. THANKS SO MUCH!

We are collecting any Sheboygan Falls Falcon apparel that you or your child
no longer need or wear. There will be a collection bin at our JV and
varsity home volleyball and basketball games. Our hope is to have enough
items to sell at one youth boys basketball game and one youth girls
basketball game this year. Dates are TBD. This is a great opportunity to
clean out your closets and get some new-to-you items! All proceeds from
donated items will go towards updating and maintaining the concession

Attention any students who are interested in participating in our first
math contest of the year: The first contest is at Lakeland University on
October 20th, 2025 at 5:30 pm. The cost to you is $0.00. This is a team
event, so we need you – especially underclassmen. I need to know how many

FFA members: Please get a permission slip for World Dairy Expo from Ms.
Hand. They are due back by October 1st.

Attention students! We have several visitors coming to SFHS soon! On Tuesday,
September 30 the US Navy recruiter will be at SFHS during lunches outside
the cafeteria. On Wednesday, October 1, we will have reps in the
Counseling Office during SOAR from Lakeland University, as well as our LTC
Start College Now rep. On Thursday, October 2, our Youth Apprenticeship
rep will be in the Counseling Office during SOAR. Finally, on Friday,
October 3, the US Army National Guard rep will be outside the cafeteria
during lunches. Check your emails for sign ups for Lakeland, LTC, and
Youth Apprenticeship sign ups!

Every math student at SFHS is required to have a graphing calculator. If
your student does not have one yet, you can buy them at retail stores like
Walmart, Target, etc… or Amazon for $100 – $120. Please buy a TI 83 or
84. You can also rent one from the school for $35 and get the rental fee
back when the calculator is handed in at the end of the year. Please make
sure your student has a graphing calculator. Email Michele Franklin at

Do you like Culvers? The SFHS Theater Department is looking for your
support.

On Monday, September 29th from 5-8, a portion of Culver’s profits will be
donated to the SFHS Theater Department.

How can you help? By having dinner at Culvers! Simply bring a copy of the
“Share Night Slip” with you to Culvers and turn it in as you order. Copies
of the “Share Night Slips” will be available in the HS office if you need!

This fundraiser is happening at any Sheboygan locations, but at Taylor
Drive Culvers you will see Mrs. Haines and Mr. Wojo serving your food!
