Attention students! Our visitors through the Counseling Office are off to a
good start! On Tuesday, September 8th, our U.S. Marines recruiter will be
outside the cafeteria during lunches. As always, when you are done eating
lunch, you may go visit with him. However, when you have finished, please
return to the cafeteria if the bell has not rung yet. On Wednesday,
September 9, our Lakeshore College rep will be in the Counseling Office
during SOAR. If you are currently taking a Start College Now class,
interested in taking one second semester (the deadline to sign up for a
second semester Start College Now class is October 1!!), or are a junior or
senior and want to learn more about what Lakeshore College has to offer
once you are done with high school, you will want to come to this visit!
Please see your email from Mrs. Groth to get signed up. Finally, on Thursday,
September 10, our Youth Apprenticeship rep will be in the Counseling Office
during SOAR. Please watch your email for additional information on this
meeting.

Parking Passes: Parking passes can be picked up in the High School

If you have not signed up for / paid for a permit, please do so ASAP! Ticketing
will begin next week!

Any student currently on the Robotics team or interested in joining the
Robotics team should meet Mr. Nikson in the library on Wednesday morning at
7:35 AM. This meeting pertains to an opportunity to earn high school credit
for your participation.

FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) will hold an informational
meeting Thursday,
September 10th during Club SOAR. Sign up in Falcon Scheduling for Mrs.
Behling’s room.

Next FBLA Leadership Team meeting- October 1st at 7:15am in Mrs. B’s room.

FFA members! If you are interested in joining FFA, please come to the
meeting on September 14th at 7:00 pm in Ms. Hand’s room. Please also take
a membership form from her door.

Girls interested in playing soccer this year – There will be an
informational meeting during Club time on Thursday, September 17th. Please
sign up in ElasticClass under Mrs. Spielvogel.

Attention Students: If you need to rent a calculator, please stop by the
library to pick up a Calculator Rental Form. The form must be completed and
returned to Mrs. VK in the library before a calculator can be issued. Remember,
there are a limited number of calculators available, so please plan
accordingly.

If you are in 10th or 11th grade and interested in taking the PSAT, please
sign up in the counseling office. The cost is $18 and must be paid to
reserve your spot. There are only 25 spots available-first come, first
served! The deadline to sign up will be Friday, Sept. 18th. The PSAT is an
opportunity to practice a standardized test before the ACT. The test will
be taken on Wednesday, Oct. 14th. Please email Mr. Koepsell if you have any
questions.

joining girls tennis this fall!

Even if you’ve never played tennis before, you belong here. Many of our
current Varsity players never touched a racket before High School!

Parents and athletes are invited to an informational meeting Wednesday, May
27 at 7:00 PM in the High School Library. Meet the coaches and hear more
about what it’s like to play from current tennis athletes. You’ll be hooked!

Office beginning Monday, May 18 at 7:30 AM. Please stop in before or after

EXCEPTIONS! There is a short turnaround time for these, so make sure you

Locker cleanout for seniors will be Wednesday, May 20th during SOAR in the
morning. Any items left behind will be disposed of!!!

Yearbooks will be distributed on Wednesday, May 20th during SOAR. You will
be called down by grade, starting with the freshmen and ending with the
seniors (it’s also locker clean-out day).

Attention students! Our last visitors of the school year are coming
up! On Wednesday,
May 20, our U.S. Army Recruiter will be outside the cafeteria during
lunches. This is rescheduled from this past Tuesday. Then on Thursday, May
21, our Youth Apprenticeship rep, Kaise, will be back for her last visit of
the school year. If you are in Grades 10 or 11 and want more information or
have questions about the Youth Apprenticeship program, you may sign up for
this meeting. If you are a Senior and in YA and need to do a final check in
with Kaise (email her if you are unsure whether you need to meet with her
or not), you may also sign up for this visit. To get signed up, please sign
up under Mr. Koepsell’s SOAR for Thursday, May 21 when you have SOAR sign
up on Monday. Our Lakeshore College rep will be back one final time to meet
with some Seniors she wanted to touch base with. If there is anyone who
would like to meet with her for either Start College Now course questions,
or attending Lakeshore College after high school questions, please fill out

Subject: Girls Tennis Informational Meeting: May 27

Girls in 8th – 11th grade and families:

Looking for a great reason to be outside in August and September? Do you
like hanging out with a fun group of people? Do you like to be challenged?
Do you like listening to music while getting some exercise? Then consider
joining girls tennis this fall!

Even if you’ve never played tennis before, you belong here. Many of our
current Varsity players never touched a racket before High School!

Parents and athletes are invited to an informational meeting Wednesday, May
27 at 7:00 PM in the High School Library. Meet the coaches and hear more
about what it’s like to play from current tennis athletes. You’ll be hooked!
