*Library News*
Books that have been checked out since the beginning of the school year are
now overdue. Check the list by the library doors.
*WIN! Stop in the library* to enter the weekly trivia contest – a winner
is selected every Friday. We are also running a November Bookface
contest. Replace your face, body or even your pet with a book’s cover and
snap a picture! Prizes for students and staff! See Mrs. Federer for more
details.
*November is Gratitude month*! Do you have an attitude of gratitude?
Gratitude is about focusing on the good and being thankful for the things
we have. Studies have shown that living a grateful life can increase
happiness. It’s good for our mind and body!
*Attention seniors!* Class t-shirts will be sold November 14-17 during both
lunches. The cost is $12 for short sleeve and $15 for long sleeve (+$2 for
2XL). Money is needed when the shirts are purchased and no late orders
will be accepted. This shirt will be worn for our class photo for the
yearbook. They are not mandatory, but encouraged!

you every day of your life because even the smallest dose of daily
gratitude can help you increase positive feelings, make you feel happier
and improve your attitude toward school and learning. As gratitude becomes
part of a daily routine, so does the calm, safe, and comfortable tone that
accompanies it.
*Any students interested in the Military*, if you are interested in taking
the ASVAB, please sign up in the counseling office by November 17th. If you
have questions about what the ASVAB is or if you should take it, please see
your counselor.
Academic Awards will* NOT BE* available for pick up until after November
20th. Thank you

*Girl Scouts of Manitou* has summer position in Plymouth and Two Rivers.
You must be 18 by June 2018. Stop in the counseling office or see the job
board for an informational sheet.
