* HIGH SCHOOL*

*November 18, 2019*

*Secret Santas* – Would you like to adopt a nursing home resident for
Christmas? Be a Secret Santa!!! Stop in the counseling office to sign up to
purchase a small gift for a resident to spread Christmas cheer!

*Juniors and Seniors!!* We will have several visitors this week through
the Counseling Office. On Tuesday, November 19th the UW Green Bay rep will
be in the Counseling Office during Enhancement, and then on Wednesday,
November 20th a rep from University of Alabama will be in the Counseling
Office during Enhancement. Both of these you must sign up for in Falcon
Scheduling under my name (Mrs. Groth). If you forget, come see me. I will
get you signed up. In addition, Kohler Hospitality will be coming on
Tuesday, November 19th during lunches. They will have a table set up
outside the cafeteria and will have information on jobs available through
them.

*Any student interested in doing a co-op for 3rd or 4th quarter*, there
will be an Information Night on December 4th from 6:30-8:00pm at Sunny
Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Sheboygan. A student and parent
must attend. Please see Mr. Koepsell if you have questions.

*FBLA is having a Broadway Popcorn* fund raising sale! We are selling all
varieties of sweet caramel corn and cheese popcorn! Please see an FBLA
member or Mr. Conklin to order!

*The First Annual Robo Riot 3418 Winter Warm Up Food Drive*. The food drive
is taking place November 11th through the 22nd. Canned foods and other
nonperishables to benefit the Sheboygan County Food Bank. Drop-off location
for the food drive will be in front of the cafeteria. Our goal this year?
To donate a quarter ton (500 pounds) of food to those in need.

*SPORTS*

*Congratulations on a great season KLF*. The girls swim and dive team won
conference, took second place at sectionals, and qualified the 200
freestyle relay and an individual (Maddy M) in the 200 freestyle. The girls
swam well at state and placed higher than seed times. Great season ladies!
Please drop off parkas after school on Monday at Kohler! Thank you!

*ABOVE AND BEYOND*

*Aaron S* – Mrs. Franklin – has taken on a role of helping me a lot in
Geometry Essentials. He is often offering to pass out papers and always
hands out the calculators to everyone each day.

*Hunter L* – Ms. Schaefer – For helping another student in art class.
Hunter was kind enough to show this student how to make a sculpture in
class.

*Jenna K*- Mrs. Burkart/Spielvogel – Jenna noticed that a student selling
Senior T-shirts was swamped with customers. She shortened her lunch to
help out.

*Keegan K* – Mr. Berlin -for stepping up and leading the band during the
walk of champions for the swimmers with Mr. Beekhuizen gone

*Hanna T* – Ms. Enright – for helping her classmates when I had a substitute

*Business Management Class* – Mr. Conklin – I would like to recognize the
entire Business Management class for participating in the Sargento Career
Exploration Day and representing SFHS with their excellent questions and
interest in manufacturing.
