Attention students!! The Counseling Office will have lots of visitors
again the week of October 3! For Juniors and Seniors, Viterbo University
rep will be in the Counseling Office on Thursday, October 6th during
Enhancement. Please use the Google forms Mrs. Groth sent out in email to
get signed up for either or both of these visits.
For all students, the US Marines recruiter will be coming for a visit on
Wednesday, October 5th during lunches outside the cafeteria. As always,
please make him feel welcome by going out and talking with him, but when
you are finished, please return to the cafeteria.
All juniors and seniors who received an NHS Application – The applications
are due in the counseling office by 3:15 pm on October 14th. No exceptions
will be made for any reason. If it’s not turned in on time, it does not
get considered.
If you are interested in taking an AP Exam this year, the deadline to pay
is Friday, Nov. 4th at 3:00pm. The cost is $97 per AP Exam (or $62 if you
qualify for free/reduced lunch). Payment can be made with cash or a check
made out to the School District of Sheboygan Falls and should be brought to
the Counseling Office. Please see Mr. Koepsell if you have questions.
*Call for fall sports pictures!* If you have pictures from a fall sport
this season and would like for them to be featured in the yearbook, email
them to Ms. Enright at [email protected].
*Attention Juniors and Seniors*: The Wisconsin Education Fair is coming up
on Thursday, October 20 at Lakeland University from 9:15-10:15. There will
be more than 100 colleges and universities from all over Wisconsin and the
Midwest represented. The goal of this fair is to learn more information
about these colleges and universities and be able to speak with a
representative. Ms. Jarosch sent you an email with information on how to
register. The last day to register is Monday, October 10. There is no cost
to attend and we will take a bus.
Anyone interested in wrestling or being a statistician/manager this season,
we will be having a pre-season informational meeting during enhancement on
Friday, October 14th in the Auditorium. You will need to sign up on Monday
on Falcon Scheduling under Ms. Spielvogel in the Auditorium next week for
the Friday meeting. If you are unable to attend, please contact Mr. Knecht.
It’s that time of year again! Time to tune up your voice, gather your
courage, and learn to overcome your fear of public speaking! Forensics
season is fast approaching, and Mr Ford is looking forward to seeing you on
the team! Sign up for the informational meeting in his room on Friday,
October 14th during Enhancement and learn what you need to do to get
started!
