HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

November 7, 2025

Attention students! We will have some visitors coming up! On Thursday,
November 13, our Youth Apprenticeship rep, Kaise will be in the Counseling
Office during SOAR. Remember, if you are doing a Youth Apprenticeship, you
must meet with Kaise once a month, and this visit begins a new month! When
it is time to sign up for SOARS for the week on Monday, just look for Mr.
Koepsell’s SOAR for Thursday and sign up.

ATTENTION: Key Club dues are due to the labeled box in the counseling
office by Friday, November 15. Dues are $15 and can be paid in either cash
or check. Please attach the form found next to the box with your money!

Any students taking an AP course this year (AP Music Theory, AP Biology, AP
Pre-Calculus, or AP Calculus) the deadline to sign up and pay to take the
AP exam is Friday, Nov. 7th. Payments can be made in the counseling office
with cash or check or can be paid online in the Infinite Campus portal.
Please let Mrs. Groth or Mr. Koepsell know which AP exam you are planning
to take prior to paying. See Mr. Koepsell if you have any questions.

NHS applicants: You can pick up your letter from the NHS council today. Please
go to the main office during your lunch or after school. Please save the
date for the induction ceremony. It will occur at 6 pm on November 24th,
2025 in the auditorium with desserts and refreshments afterwards.

Picture Retakes: If you had your pictures retaken on picture retake day,
your pictures / order form are ready for pickup. Please stop in the High
School office and see Mrs. Klahn.

FFA members please go down to Ms.Hand’s room to get your fruit and meat
sale forms! Both forms and all money from your orders are due back to
Ms.Hand on November 20th. Fruit will be delivered on December 8th. If you
have any questions please let an FFA officer know or Ms.Hand.

The Fishing Club will meet Thursday November 6th at 6:30 pm in the High
School Cafeteria. Any students that would like to participate are welcome.
It doesn’t matter your level of experience or if you have equipment or not.
Parents you are also welcome and encouraged to attend.I would also like to

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention students! We will have a couple visitors coming next week!
On Wednesday,
October 29, our rep from UW Green Bay/Sheboygan will be in the Counseling
Office during SOAR meeting with interested students. Please see your email
for the Google Form to get signed up for this visit. On Thursday, October 30,
our Youth Apprenticeship Rep, Kaise will be back in the Counseling Office
during SOAR. That will be her last visit for October, so if you are in YA
and have not met with Kaise yet in October, you need to get signed up for
this visit! Just go to Mr. Koepsell’s SOAR for Thursday, October 30 when
SOAR sign up opens Monday morning 2nd hour and get signed up!

The Fishing Club will meet Thursday November 6th at 6:30 pm in the High
School Cafeteria. Any students that would like to participate are welcome.
It doesn’t matter your level of experience or if you have equipment or not.
Parents you are also welcome and encouraged to attend.I would also like to
extend an invite to any teachers that would like to participate. Come find
out what activities are planned for the year.

Mrs. Franklin has received two graphing calculators with no names on them
that have been lost in classrooms. Please see Mrs. Franklin if you lost
your graphing calculator. You would need to provide details about what
they look like to her, as well as what kind they are, as there are no names
on them anywhere.

Junior & Senior Students and Parents: If you are interested in finding out
more about financial aid planning for any type of college after high
school, please attend the Financial Aid Planning Night on Monday, October
27th at 6:00pm in the HS auditorium.

Yearbooks are on sale now for $50. Head over to yearbookforever.com to
order today. Prices will slowly increase throughout the year, so make sure
to snag a book now for the lowest price.

Didn’t get a yearbook last year? We still have copies available for
purchase for $60. Please see Mrs. Mett (room A209) if interested in
purchasing a book from the 2024-2025 school year.

Mrs. Mett would like to thank Lillian Schneider, Evee Kletzin and Logan
Richter who helped clean up the window paint leftover from HoCo!

Ms. Moyer would like to recognize Cooper Berlin – Awesome job in
Electricity class helping teach his classmates who were absent for an
activity!

Sports Announcements:

The Girls Basketball team is looking for a manager this season. The first
practice is on November 10th after school. Please contact Mr. Houwers at

Coach Kuck for the SFHS volleyball team wants to thank the student section
from last night’s volleyball match in Kewaskum. Your energy is unmatched
and appreciated. Thank you for the support all season!
