HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

February 10, 2025

It’s FBLA Week! FBLA has over 230,000 members across the United States. It
was founded in 1940 and has grown to include more than 5,000 chapters.
Members compete in over 70 different academic events, ranging from business
ethics to public speaking. The organization also hosts an annual National
Leadership Conference, which attracts tens of thousands of students each
year.

This week, dress up days are as follows:

Monday: Work From Home Day / Pajama Day

Tuesday: Dress for Your Future Career Day

Wednesday: Decades Day / 70’s, 80’s etc

Thursday: Jersey Day

Friday: Color Wars / Valentine’s Day

Freshmen: Red for Euros

Sophomores: Green for the US Dollar

Juniors: Blue for Pounds

Seniors: Gray for Rupes

All 9th, 10th, and 11th graders received course registration information
the week of January 27. Students – please check your email for a message

NHS will be selling Candygrams before school, after school, and at lunches
from February 6th – February 12th for $1 and also a limited edition $5
Valentine gift. Candygrams will be delivered on February 14th during 6th
hour.

running from 9am-2pm in the high school gym! This is a great opportunity to

players that have completed the Papa Murphy’s fundraising can purchase

Target League begins on Tuesday February 4th and runs through Monday March
24th at noon. This is open to all students 6th-12th grade students. There
will also be an opportunity to participate in the Sheboygan County High
School Trap League again this year. Please mark your calendar for February
18th for an informational meeting at Sheboygan Falls Conservation Club,

February 5th at 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the High School Cafeteria. Grades 5-12
are able to participate in our club. This is a great opportunity to learn

about the upcoming season. Whether you’re new to rugby or a returning
athlete, we encourage all interested students and their parents to attend.

students will be in the high school with low to moderate levels of
supervision.

Suggestions for staff and students regarding this event:

Staff:

Students will not be allowed in classrooms unsupervised, but will be using
them to do their event in front of a board of 3 judges. If you have any
items left out in your classrooms that students should not see (class
rosters, etc), please consider stowing them away.

Students:

It may be a good idea to lock your lockers on Friday after school due to
the mass amount of FBLA members that will be around our school. SFHS FBLA
and Sheboygan Falls High School are not responsible for any missing items
out of student lockers!

FFA Members! The next FFA meeting is Monday, February 3rd at 7:00 pm in the
ag shop.

Attention students! Our LTC Start College Now rep will be in the Counseling
Office again during SOAR on Tuesday, February 4 to meet with any students

2025 TRAP SEASON, Registration for the Wisconsin State High School Clay
Target League begins on Tuesday February 4th and runs through Monday March
24th at noon. This is open to all students 6th-12th grade students. There
will also be an opportunity to participate in the Sheboygan County High
School Trap League again this year. Please mark your calendar for February
19th for an informational meeting at Sheboygan Falls Conservation Club,
starting at 6:00 p.m. Any questions or concerns between now and February

Join us for an Informational Meeting about the Sheboygan Chargers Middle
School and High School Rugby Club! The meeting will be on Wednesday,
February 5th at 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the High School Cafeteria. Grades 5-12
are able to participate in our club. This is a great opportunity to learn
more about the club, meet the coaches, and ask any questions you may have
about the upcoming season. Whether you’re new to rugby or a returning
athlete, we encourage all interested students and their parents to attend.

Student: You can pick up Snowball guest passes starting Monday, January 27.
They are due back by Thursday, February 13.

FFA Members: On Tuesday, January 28 FFA Members should be released at 2:35
pm for a competition.

Attention students! Our LTC reps will be returning to Sheboygan Falls High
School! On Tuesday, January 28, both our LTC Start College Now rep as well
as our LTC Post Secondary rep will be in the Counseling Office during SOAR.
If you have any questions at all about LTC and the programs they offer,
make sure you get signed up for either of these visits. Mrs. Groth has sent
out Google Forms for both visits.

Students: The last day to make any schedule changes is Monday, January 27
at 3:15pm. You have received 4 emails over the past month with details on
how to make an adjustment to your schedule. Seniors – the last day to turn
in your work release form is also Monday, January 27 at 3:15pm.

Students! Be part of history! The 100th anniversary yearbook is available
for purchase now at yearbookforever.com. The price is $55. The price will
increase to $60 on 4/12/25.
