Attention! SFHS PENNY WAR

You have surely heard about Hurricane Helene and Milton that recently
decimated six southern states. Hurricane Helene dumped 42 trillion gallons
of rain over those states, which is the equivalent to the flow of Niagara
Falls for 1.75 years. It killed over 230 people and left a path of
destruction for 500 miles. Hurricane Milton dropped 3.4 trillion gallons of
rain in Florida and left many homes and communities destroyed.

Key Club and NHS are partnering to raise funds for hurricane relief. This
is in your 3rd hour class! You can bring in money to your 3rd hour anytime
throughout the day from Wednesday, October 23 to Thursday, October 31.

Pennies count for your class and silver coins/dollars count against your
class! You can sabotage other 3rd hour classes by putting silver
coins/dollars in their buckets!

Prize for winning: the 3rd hour that earned the most pennies the week of
November 4th will get donuts on Monday, pizza on Wednesday, and cookies
(baked goods) on Friday.

This starts Wednesday, October 23rd and ends Thursday, October 31 at 3:20

The Goal: $3,000 we will split the profit amongst 3 organizations: Red
Cross, Humane Society, and Global Empowerment Mission

You can bring in money to your 3rd hour anytime
throughout the day from Wednesday, October 23 to next Friday, November 1.

This starts Wednesday, October 23rd and ends Friday, November 1 at 3:20

The Goal: $3,000 we will split the profit amongst 3 organizations: Red
Cross, Humane Society, and Global Empowerment Mission

BRING IN YOUR PENNIES STARTING ON WEDNESDAY!!!

Volunteer opportunities for NHS and Key Club students:

SF Dance Invite 2024 Saturday, November 9th – We would love for any
volunteers 14-18 to choose to work either as a concessions worker in the
cafeteria, score sheet runners, cafeteria cleaners or bake sale table
monitor.
