The High School Fishing Club will be holding its first meeting of the year
Wednesday October 4th at 6:00pm in the high school Cafeteria. If you have
an interest in fishing or would like to learn what the club has to offer
please attend. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend as well.

Anyone interested in attending the Lakeland University High School Math
Meet on October 16th should see Mrs. Franklin for the details. We are
hoping to bring a big team this year! There are awards given that would
look great on college applications. I need to know by October 4th, so let
me know as soon as possible if you can attend. You can also let your
current math teacher know as well.

Any 10th or 11th grade students interested in taking the PSAT should sign
up in the Counseling Office. The test will be given on Wednesday, October
11, and will be an electronic test only-not paper and pencil. The cost of
the test is $18.00, and must be paid to save a spot. *There are only TWO
OPENINGS LEFT!!* The deadline to sign up is Thursday, September 28. The
PSAT is a good opportunity to practice a standardized test before the ACT,
and could also qualify you for scholarship opportunities if you do well.

students outside the cafeteria during lunches. Please feel free to go out

Attention Juniors and Seniors! Our LTC Dual Credit Rep will be coming for
her first visit of the school year on Tuesday, September 12 during
Enhancement to the Counseling Office. If you would like to meet with her
regarding Start College Now (dual credit classes), please use the Google
Form Mrs. Groth sent out in emails to get signed up for this visit.

Any 10th or 11th grade students interested in taking the PSAT should sign
up in the Counseling Office. The test will be given on Wednesday, October
11, and will be an electronic test only-not paper and pencil. The cost of
the test is $18.00, and must be paid to save a spot. There are only 25
tests available. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, September 28. The
PSAT is a good opportunity to practice a standardized test before the ACT,
and could also qualify you for scholarship opportunities if you do well.
Payment can be made by cash or check made out to SDSF. Any questions,
please contact Mr. Koepsell or Mrs. Groth.

Attention students! The US Army ROTC/National Guard recruiter will be at
our school on Friday, September 8th during lunches outside the cafeteria.
As always, all students are welcome to go visit with him, but when you are
done, you need to return to the cafeteria.
