December 12, 2024
Attention students! We will have our Youth Apprenticeship Rep coming
this Friday,
December 13 to meet with requested students (please make sure you check
ElasticClass if you are a current Youth Apprenticeship student). We will
have several visitors before winter break as well! On Monday, December 16,
our U.S. Coast Guard Recruiter will be at Sheboygan Falls High School
during lunches outside the cafeteria. Then on Tuesday, December 17, both
our LTC Start College Now Rep and our LTC Post Secondary Rep will be in
the Counseling Office during SOAR. Our Lakeland University Rep will be here
on Wednesday, December 18 during SOAR in the Counseling Office. In addition,
that same day, our U.S. Army Recruiter will be outside the cafeteria
during lunches. Finally, on Friday, December 20 our Youth Apprenticeship
Rep will be back during SOAR in the Counseling Office meeting with any
current YA students she did not see on December 13. She will also be
meeting with any students interested in learning more about the Youth
Apprenticeship program. Mrs. Groth will send out Google Forms for both LTC
visits, the Lakeland University visit, and the YA visit for students
interested in learning about the program. Please watch your email.
Please be advised that students may not purchase food items with another
student’s identification card. Each student ID is unique and linked to an
individual account for tracking purchases.

FBLA Regional Leadership Competition, please reach out to Ms. Kuehne (
[email protected]). We are looking for adults to judge
presentation events and volunteers to support FBLA members during
concessions and lunch service
For all students planning on playing baseball this spring, we have begun
some fundraising. We will need to replace/improve some of our equipment.
So, we will be selling Papa Murphy’s coupon cards. They are a good value
and we have had quite a bit of success with these cards in the past. Each
player will be expected to sell 10 cards at $10 per card for a total of
$100. Half of this money comes back to our program. This will allow us to
purchase the tees and baseballs (and hopefully screens) that we will need.
The order forms can be picked up in Coach Fladvid’s room (A143). The money
for the coupon cards should be back to me by Thursday, December 19th at
3:15. Please see the email you were sent which provides more details.
Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
We want to address a concerning trend at Sheboygan Falls High School: an
increasing number of student tardies. We’ve noticed a significant number of
students loitering in the halls, resulting in late arrivals to class. This
is a major disruption to the students who are in class ready to learn.
Parents/Guardians
will get Infinite Campus notifications for each tardy during the day.
Please be aware of the following consequences for repeated tardies:
–
Detentions: Students who are repeatedly tardy will be assigned
detentions. (Student Handbook page 91)
–
Detention Deadline: Students must serve all outstanding detentions from
the 1st and 2nd quarters before the beginning of the winter break.
–
Restriction from After-School Activities: Starting in the new year,
students with outstanding detentions as a result of tardies and other
behavioral referrals will not be permitted to attend after-school
activities as spectators.
–
Starting Third Quarter: Students will have one week to serve detentions
before being unable to attend after-school events as spectators.
We urge all students to prioritize punctuality and make a concerted effort
to arrive to class on time, ready to learn.
Thank you for your cooperation.
