District Launches New App
We are excited to announce the launch of the “Sheboygan Falls School Dist” app by SchoolInfoApp which is now available for iOS™, Android™, and Windows™ devices. The app enables parents, students, and staff to stay connected and informed about what’s happening at the District level, as well as all three of our schools.
Families will still need to use Infinite Campus to make lunch payments and grades, as well as Canvas to view student work. Both of these applications are linked at the bottom of our new app.

More information about our app, as well as helpful hints can be found on our website:

The SFSDconnect app that was previously being used will be discontinued.
Lego League
A Successful Season!

Congratulations to Lego League participants on a successful season! T
he SFMS First Lego League team, Brick Boiz, competed in their section tournament. The Boiz did a great job and worked hard coming home with the Presentation Award for the their project, a universally designed, indoor playground facility. We are very proud of everything they have accomplished.

Learning CPR

Learning in Action
Nurse Hackbarth and Mrs. Schreurs trained 7th grade Health students how to perform Hands-Only CPR. This experience provides students with the hands-on opportunity to practice CPR.
Notice to parents who are moving out of the district
If you are anticipating a move or moving out of the Sheboygan Falls District during the current school year, your student can continue attending school in Sheboygan Falls. Please contact your building office, or the district office, to receive DPI Form PI-9419-B – Request for Tuition Waiver Due to Move, for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Completion of this form will enable your child to continue attending school in the Sheboygan Falls District even though you no longer live within the District boundaries for the remainder of this school year. An open enrollment application or alternate open enrollment application will then need to be completed for the 2020-2021 school year and beyond. Please call Julie Hahn at 467-7893 if you have any questions regarding tuition waivers or open enrollment.
Celebrating Our Talents

Talent Show
Students and staff shared their talents with each other during our annual Talent Show. SFMS students were treated to a performance during the school day and then another performance in the evening for families. Thank you to all students and staff who performed!
Watch Out For Drones!
STEM in Action

Watch out for drones! The 7th grade STEM classes are finishing the semester with a mini-unit on drone flight characteristics, safety, and responsible use. They then get to use Flybrix kits to create and test-fly their own drone creations. This aligns with our standards in technology, as well as transportation engineering.

From the Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,

An important date is approaching for our eighth grade families. On Monday, January 27th at 5:30 p.m. the high school is hosting their Freshman Curriculum Night/Open House. This event is for parents/guardians and students and will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the course offerings at the high school. Staff will be available to answer questions that you may have. Please contact the middle school or high school office with any questions that you may have regarding this event. This event is a wonderful opportunity for eighth graders to get their “first” look at the high school as an incoming freshman.

Sincerely,
SFMS Principal
