A Message from the Principals

Welcome Back! It has been a pleasure welcoming students back to the building, students and staff were able to come together to celebrate the first day of school with an assembly which emphasized choosing to be kind and staying positive. And, the excitement of the new school year is still in full effect.

A reminder as we get close to the halfway mark of the first quarter, you are able to log into Infinite Campus to check the progress of your child(s) academics. Infinite Campus and Canvas both have parent login features which can help connect you to both your students’ grades and coursework. If you are not already connected to these Learning Platforms contact the office for help setting up parent logins.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Counselor’s Corner

The 2023-24 school year started with some new and exciting changes for the Sheboygan Falls Middle School Counseling Department! It is Mrs. Alyssa Renzelmann’s first full year in her new position as the Middle School 5th Grade School Counselor. Last year, Mrs. Britne Lorge also began her transition from Elementary and Middle School Counselor, to fulltime Middle School Counselor (Grades 6-8) in January. It is Mrs. Lorge’s twelfth year in the School District of Sheboygan Falls. Please see the School Counseling News for more information.

MS Life Lately

Students and staff ended the first day of school with an all school celebration to kick off the school year.

Grade level team meetings to come together and go over upcoming events and expectations for the school year.

5th Grade students were challenged to figure out all the different ways they can arrange 24 cubes in a form of a rectangle prism. The task required students to use what they understood about factors to identify the dimensions of all possible rectangular prisms with a volume of 24 cubes.

7th Grade stem students were given a challenge to start the year, take what you know about circuits and design and build a working flashlight!

8th Grade students learned about mechanical advantages as they prepare for their upcoming hydraulics unit.
